BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Medium Soft Recovery Design

BENCMATE’s medium inflatable dog cone collar is a soft, donut-shaped alternative to a traditional cone, designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting an injured area or surgical site.

• Inflatable donut shape with an inner air bag — creates a soft barrier around your dog’s neck.
• Open field of vision — lets dogs see while wearing the collar.
• Two outer fabric options — choose plush soft-touch fabric or colorful anti-stick, scratch-resistant, stretchy fabric.
• Internal fixation straps and an adjustable hook-and-loop closure — help secure and adjust the collar.
• Removable outer cover and deflatable design — make the collar easier to take apart for cleaning and compact storage.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may need help avoiding their wounds while they go about familiar activities. This inflatable recovery collar is made to provide a neck-level barrier without the vision-blocking shape of a conventional Elizabethan collar. Its soft form is designed for use during everyday activities such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and playing.

How does this inflatable collar help protect a wound?

The BENCMATE collar surrounds the neck with an inflated donut-shaped barrier to help prevent a dog from reaching an injured area or surgical site to lick or bite it. The inner air bag provides neck support, while the soft outer material offers a gentler-feeling alternative to a rigid cone. The shape also doubles as a neck pillow; it is designed to help dogs settle to sleep quickly and relieve wound pain.

• Made for post-surgery or wound recovery use.
• Designed to protect against licking and biting, not to treat an injury.

Can dogs see and move around while wearing it?

Yes. Unlike a conventional E-collar that can block a dog’s vision, the BENCMATE inflatable collar leaves the field of vision unobstructed. Dogs can eat, drink, sleep, and play while wearing it, with the collar remaining around the neck as a protective barrier.

• Use the hook-and-loop closure to adjust how tightly it fits.
• Position the closure at the back of the dog’s neck to make it harder to bite.

How do you secure, clean, and store the collar?

Thread your dog’s everyday collar through the recovery collar’s internal fixation straps to help hold it in place. The outer cover unzips for removal, and the collar can be deflated for compact storage. Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing the medium size; no neck measurement range is provided here.

• If the collar is loose and slips off, loop the dog’s everyday collar through the recovery collar to help prevent it from falling off.
• The zipper opening is on one side of the collar.

The BENCMATE medium inflatable collar suits dog owners looking for a soft, vision-friendly recovery barrier after surgery or an injury, with adjustable fastening and a removable cover. It is designed for limiting access to a wound while allowing familiar daily activities, rather than for treating the wound itself.
