Capetsma Floating Fish Breeder Box with Removable Divider and Bottom Grating

Capetsma is a floating acrylic fish breeder box for breeding, isolating, and acclimating aquarium fish, with a 9.0" x 4.7" x 5.1" (22.86 x 11.94 x 12.95 cm) inner swimming area.

• Hatchery for live-bearing fish — helps keep newborn fry separate from adult fish.
• Self-contained isolation plate — separates fish that need protection from aggressive tankmates.
• Removable divider — lets you adjust the chambers to suit different fish or breeding needs.
• Suction cups secure the box to the aquarium wall — helps keep the floating box in position.
• Bottom grating — helps keep food residue and excrement from soiling the box.

Use the Capetsma breeder box when fish need a separate area within the aquarium for breeding, recovery, or acclimation. It is designed for pregnant fish, newborn fry, injured fish, and smaller aquatic animals that may need separation from other tank inhabitants.

How does the breeder box help protect fry and separated fish?

The box provides a contained area for breeding, isolation, or acclimation within the aquarium. It is intended as a hatchery for live-bearing fish, including bettas, guppies, and medaka, and helps prevent newborn fry from being eaten by other fish. The isolation plate can also help reduce danger from aggressive fish and provide a separate space for injured fish, small fish, shrimp, and clownfish.

• Made from cell-cast crystal acrylic.
• Vents allow water flow and make it easier to observe baby fish.
• Designed for use inside an aquarium.

What size is the fish’s swimming area?

The inner space measures 9.0" x 4.7" x 5.1" (22.86 x 11.94 x 12.95 cm), listed as length x width x height. Compare those interior measurements with the space your fish needs to swim before choosing where to place the box. The two-layer combination is designed to save aquarium space while providing a separate area.

• Inner measurements refer to the area available for fish to swim.
• The removable divider can be repositioned to customize chamber size and number.

How does it attach, and how do you prepare it for cleaning?

Suction cups secure the floating isolation box to the aquarium wall. Assembly or disassembly for cleaning takes about 3 minutes; the first setup may take about 10 minutes because the acrylic protection layers need to be removed. The bottom grating helps prevent food residue and excrement from soiling the box.

• Attach the box to the aquarium wall with its suction cups.
• Remove the protective layers from the acrylic before first use.
• Take the box apart for cleaning.

The Capetsma floating breeder box suits aquarium keepers who need a separate space for fry, pregnant fish, injured fish, or small aquatic animals without using a separate tank. Its interior dimensions define the swimming area, while the adjustable divider supports different chamber arrangements.
