ChokeFree Pet Shoulder Collar, 16-Inch Metallic Blue Leather Restraint

ChokeFree Pet Shoulder Collar is a leather, one-piece shoulder-wrapping restraint designed for walks without pressure on a pet’s neck or airway; this metallic blue version is labeled 16 inches (40.64 cm).

• Shoulder-wrapping design — keeps restraint pressure away from the neck and airway.
• Val-Lock closure with a D-ring and hook-and-loop fastening — secures without buckles or clasps.
• Chest fit range of 8–28 inches (20.32–71.12 cm) — accommodates pets within the stated measurement range.
• Leather construction with paw ornaments — combines the collar’s one-piece simplicity with harness-style restraint features.
• Easy-on, easy-off design — makes putting on and removing the restraint straightforward.

For pets that pull against a leash, a conventional neck collar can place pressure around the neck and airway. ChokeFree is designed to provide a different point of restraint for everyday walks, including for owners seeking to avoid pressure on a pet’s trachea. Its Step-N-Wrap concept goes around the shoulders rather than relying on restraint at the neck.

How does the ChokeFree shoulder collar work?

The collar wraps around the pet’s shoulders and fastens using its patented Val-Lock closure. A D-ring passes through hook-and-loop material to secure the restraint, without the buckles or clasps used in many conventional designs. The shoulder-based construction is intended not to put pressure on the pet’s neck, fore chest or airway.

• Designed as an alternative to conventional neck collars and harnesses.
• Made for use as a pet restraint during walks.

How do I choose the right fit?

Measure your pet’s chest just behind the front legs, then add 1 inch (2.54 cm) to that measurement to determine the correct size. ChokeFree shoulder collars are available for chest measurements from 8 to 28 inches; choose based on your pet’s measurement using the stated sizing method.

• The measurement is taken around the chest, not the neck.
• This listing identifies the color as metallic blue and the size as 16 inches.
