Continuum Aquatics AquaBlade M Aquarium Scraper, White Stainless Steel Blade

Continuum Aquatics AquaBlade M is a short aquarium scraper for cleaning tank surfaces, with a stainless steel blade and a solid, injection-molded handle.

• Made for marine and freshwater aquariums — one scraper serves either aquarium type.
• Solid, non-hollow handle — helps keep aquarium water from entering the tool.
• Handle fused into the scraper head during molding — avoids a glued handle joint.
• Molded with virgin plastic rather than re-grind or recycled plastic — a construction difference from scrapers made with those materials.
• Made in the USA — provides a clear point of origin.

Aquarium cleaning calls for a tool made to work inside the tank. AquaBlade M is the short version of the AquaBlade scraper, intended for marine and freshwater aquarium cleaning. Its white finish and stainless steel blade identify this model; the short designation does not provide a specific length measurement.

Is AquaBlade M suitable for marine and freshwater tanks?

Yes. Continuum Aquatics AquaBlade M is made for cleaning both marine and freshwater aquariums. It is a short-format scraper for aquarium tank cleaning, with a stainless steel blade. The product name identifies the size as M and short, but no numerical dimensions are provided.

• Use: aquarium tank cleaning.
• Model: AquaBlade M, short version.

How is the AquaBlade handle attached?

The handle is shaped with side grooves and inserted into the scraper head during injection molding. Pressure during that process fuses the handle and head into a single molded piece, instead of relying on glue that can break down. The handle is solid rather than hollow, and the molded construction is designed to keep water from entering the scraper during use.

With no hollow handle holding aquarium water, the scraper avoids dripping excess water when lifted from the tank. The design also prevents water from being trapped inside the tool, where bacteria could grow and cause odors.

• Side-grooved handle inserted into the head during molding.
• No hollow handle cavity for water to collect in.

What is the scraper made from, and where is it made?

Continuum Aquatics uses virgin plastic in the AquaBlade molding process, rather than re-grind or recycled plastic. The brand says this construction makes the scraper stronger and more agile than scrapers made with those alternatives. AquaBlade scrapers are made in the USA.
