Digoos Electric Aquarium Sponge Filter, Small (S), Submersible with Bio-Ceramic Media

Digoos Aquarium Electric Sponge Filter is a submersible aquarium filter designed for shrimp, bettas, axolotls and other small tank inhabitants, combining sponge and bio-ceramic filtration without an external air pump.

• Mechanical sponge and bio-ceramic filtration — captures debris and provides media for beneficial bacteria colonies.
• Built-in submersible pump — starts filtering when submerged and plugged into AC power.
• Venturi nozzle and rain bar options — lets you choose gentle circulation or stronger surface agitation.
• Made for shrimp, bettas, fry, nano fish and snails — supports aquarium setups with small aquatic animals.
• Detachable, reusable sponges, bio-ball media and spare sponges — make routine filter care and replacement easier.

Small aquarium inhabitants can benefit from filtration that combines debris removal with support for beneficial bacteria. The Digoos filter is made for aquariums housing shrimp, bettas, axolotls, fry, nano fish and snails, and its submerged pump avoids the need for a separate air pump. Its quiet motor is intended to reduce noise disturbance in rooms where people spend time, including living rooms, offices and bedrooms.

How does the Digoos filter clean aquarium water?

It uses a mechanical sponge together with bio-ceramic media. The sponge filters debris, while the ceramic media provides a place for beneficial bacteria colonies to establish. This two-part filtration approach combines physical filtration with biological media in one submersible unit.

• The filtration system combines sponge and ceramic media.
• Bio-ball media is also part of the reusable filter setup.

Can I adjust the water flow?

Yes, the filter comes with a Venturi nozzle and a rain bar option for different flow effects. Use the nozzle option for gentle circulation or the rain bar option for enhanced surface agitation, according to the needs of your aquarium inhabitants.

• Choose between two included flow-output options.
• Flow choices include gentle circulation and increased surface movement.

How do I set up the electric sponge filter?

Submerge the unit, secure it with its suction cups and plug it into AC power to begin continuous filtration. The built-in pump means an external air pump is not needed, making the setup a plug-and-play option for suitable aquariums.

• Suction cups secure the submerged filter.
• The pump operates from AC power.

What is included for filter maintenance?

The filter has detachable, reusable sponges and bio-ball media, with spare sponges to extend service life and reduce upkeep costs. Removable filter parts make it possible to take the sponges out for cleaning and reuse them.

• Reusable sponge elements are detachable.
• Spare sponges are included for continued use.

This filter suits aquarium keepers looking for a powered sponge filter for shrimp, bettas, axolotls, fry, nano fish or snails, particularly where a separate air pump is not wanted. Its combined mechanical and biological media, selectable flow options and submersible AC-powered pump bring those functions together in one aquarium filter.
