GEMEK 7-Inch Dog Grooming Scissors Set with Titanium Blades and Four Shear Styles

GEMEK’s 7-inch dog grooming scissors set is made for home and professional pet trimming, with four shear styles and 6CR titanium stainless steel blades.

• Five grooming tools plus a zipper case, cleaning cloth and adjustment key — keep the main trimming tools and care accessories together.
• Upward- and downward-curved shears — shape different areas of a dog’s coat with blades designed for distinct trimming zones.
• 62 HRC blade hardness and 60 polishing and grinding processes — bring specified hardness and finishing work to each pair of shears.
• Detachable finger rings and silicone handle pads — accommodate larger fingers and help prevent accidental finger clamping.
• An adjustable screw on the blades — change shear tension to suit coarse or fine hair.

Trimming a dog at home or grooming pets professionally calls for tools suited to different parts of the coat, rather than a single straight shear for every task. GEMEK’s set combines curved, straight and thinning scissors with a grooming comb, giving you several options for shaping and tidying pet hair.

What comes in the GEMEK dog grooming scissors set?

The set includes four 7-inch shears, one grooming comb and three accessories. Its four scissor styles are an upward-curved shear, a downward-curved shear, a thinning shear and a straight shear; the accessories are a zipper case, cleaning cloth and adjustment key.

• Use the straight and thinning shears alongside the two curved styles for different trimming tasks.
• The zipper case stores the set, while the cloth and key are included for cleaning and adjustment.

Which areas are the curved dog grooming scissors designed for?

The downward-curved shear is intended for hair around the head, limbs, buttocks and paws, while the upward-curved shear is intended for sensitive areas.

The upward curve is suited to trimming around the eyes, nose, face, ears, nails, armpits, cuticle and abdomen. Using the curve that matches the area gives you a tool shaped for that part of the grooming job.

• The two curved shears provide different blade directions for grooming distinct areas.
• The set is designed for dog and other pet grooming, at home or in professional use.

Can you adjust the tension for different coat hair?

Yes. A screw between the blades lets you change how tightly the shears open and close: GEMEK recommends a looser setting for coarse hair and a tighter setting for fine hair.

This adjustment gives you control over shear tension as you work with different hair types. An adjustment key is included with the set.

• Turn the middle screw to alter the blades’ tightness.
• Choose the tension to match the coat hair being trimmed.

What materials and handle details do the shears have?

The blades are made from 6CR titanium stainless steel and have a hardness rating of 62 HRC. Each shear undergoes 60 polishing and grinding processes; GEMEK says this finish helps prevent pet hair from catching between the blades and reduces messy hair clutters.

The shears have ergonomically designed handles intended to reduce hand fatigue during extended use. Detachable finger rings allow more room for larger fingers, and silicone pads help prevent accidental finger clamping. The pads also act as mufflers to reduce noise that could frighten a pet, compared with electric clippers.

• The set includes an adjustment key and a cleaning cloth as care accessories.
• GEMEK’s shears use a middle screw for blade-tension control.

This set suits dog owners and professional groomers who want several scissor shapes for different coat areas, along with a comb and storage case. It is intended for pet grooming and offers adjustable tension for coarse or fine hair, with four 7-inch shears for varied trimming tasks.
