Keeping a pet’s coat tidy can call for different tools for different areas. This kit brings several scissor styles together for grooming dogs and cats at home, including areas that need a more careful approach, such as the face, ears, eyes, nose, and paws. The rounded ends are designed with those sensitive trimming zones in mind.

What tools are included in the GLADOG grooming kit?

The kit contains four scissors, a pet comb, a cleaning cloth, and a black leather case. The scissors comprise one thinning shear, two curved scissors, and one straight scissor; each is 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) long. The different shapes give you options for grooming tasks that call for thinning, curved, or straight scissors.

• One 6.5-inch thinning shear
• Two 6.5-inch curved scissors and one 6.5-inch straight scissor
• One pet comb, one cleaning cloth, and one black leather case

Are the scissor tips designed for trimming sensitive areas?

Yes. The scissors have rounded end tips intended to help avoid poking a pet’s skin while you work around delicate areas. The kit is suited to careful trimming near the face, ears, eyes, nose, and paws, where a pointed scissor end can be difficult to maneuver safely.

• Rounded ends are designed for more controlled work around sensitive areas.
• The set is for grooming dogs and cats.

What are the scissors made from, and how are they designed?

The rounded-tip scissors use 4CR titanium-coated stainless steel, with a sharp, heavy-duty design intended to trim without pulling hair. Ergonomic handles are shaped to fit comfortably in the hand and help minimize fatigue during longer grooming sessions. A rubber bumper at the handle helps prevent accidental finger clamping and reduces the loud noise that can frighten a pet, like electric clippers.

• 4CR titanium-coated stainless steel construction
• Ergonomic handle design for comfortable use
• Rubber bumper at the handle

Can beginners use this dog grooming scissors set?

The kit is designed to be easy to use, including for beginners grooming at home. Its thinning, curved, and straight scissors offer distinct tool shapes in one set, while the comb supports coat preparation. Use the scissors with care around your pet, particularly when trimming near the eyes, ears, nose, paws, or other sensitive areas.

• Three scissor styles for different grooming tasks
• Pet comb included for grooming preparation

GLADOG’s kit suits dog and cat owners who want a selection of manual scissors for at-home coat trimming, including careful work around sensitive areas.
