Halomyyth Hanging Turtle Basking Platform with Textured Ramp and Built-In Food Tray

Halomyyth’s hanging turtle basking platform creates an elevated place to climb, rest and bask, with a divided built-in food tray and a textured ramp for aquarium setups of 30 gallons or more.

• Patent-pending design with professional-grade material — made for daily use under heat and UV lamps.
• Stainless steel hooks and suction cups — help hold the platform steady as turtles climb on and off.
• No exposed zip ties or loose parts — keeps the structure streamlined and avoids parts that could scratch turtles or be accidentally swallowed.
• Rounded edges and a smooth finish — provide a comfortable surface that helps resist dirt buildup.
• Grid-textured ramp — provides grip while allowing water to drain and air to circulate.
• Wipe-or-rinse cleaning — makes routine cleanup straightforward.

Turtles need a place above the water to climb out, rest and bask. This hanging dock combines that elevated resting area with a feeding spot, so a turtle can eat while basking instead of dropping food into the aquarium water. Its layout is intended for medium to large aquariums, with tank width and water level worth checking before installation.

How does the built-in feeding tray support basking?

The divided tray lets a turtle snack while resting on the basking platform. Feeding on the dock helps keep food out of the water, reducing food mess and helping keep the tank cleaner. A small amount of food placed there can encourage turtles to climb up more often; regular basking supports normal metabolism and calcium absorption.

• Multiple tray sections keep the feeding area divided.
• The feeding spot is integrated into the basking platform.

Will this hanging platform fit my aquarium?

It is designed for medium to large aquariums at least 12 inches (30 cm) wide and is compatible with tanks of 30 gallons or more. It fits standard rectangular aquariums, including framed and rimless styles, with aquarium frames up to 1.57 inches (4 cm) wide. Good to know: check both your tank size and water level to confirm the platform will suit your setup.

• Minimum aquarium width: 12 inches (30 cm).
• Maximum aquarium frame width: 1.57 inches (4 cm).

What helps turtles climb onto the basking dock?

A gentle ramp connects the water to the elevated platform, and its grid texture provides traction to help reduce slipping. Unlike a smooth acrylic ramp, the grid surface lets water drain and supports airflow. Its design also helps reduce the risk of small claws becoming caught, giving turtles a more comfortable route out of the water.

• Textured ramp surface helps turtles grip as they climb.
• Grid openings allow drainage and airflow.

How is the platform installed and cleaned?

Stainless steel hanging hooks and strong suction cups help secure the dock in place without zip ties. The design avoids complicated assembly and loose tie ends, creating a cleaner-looking setup. For routine care, wipe the smooth surface or rinse it as needed; its finish helps resist dirt buildup, and rounded edges provide a more comfortable contact surface.

• Hooks and suction cups provide the hanging support.
• Wipe or rinse the platform as needed.

This platform suits turtle keepers with a compatible rectangular aquarium who want a combined basking and feeding area, a climbing ramp and a setup designed for exposure to heat and UV lamps. Its 12-inch minimum tank width and frame-width limit help identify suitable aquariums, while the integrated feeding tray keeps mealtime on the dock.
