Halti Dog Headcollar, Size 2 Forest Green, Padded No-Pull Training Aid

The Halti Headcollar is a forest green, size 2 training headcollar for medium dogs, designed to guide dogs that pull on the leash with a padded neoprene nose band.

• Gentle head guidance — helps redirect leash-pulling dogs as you walk.
• Strong, lightweight nylon webbing — provides the headcollar’s main construction.
• Designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking — supports those everyday activities while worn.
• Reflective accents and a safety link — add visibility in low light and connect to your dog’s collar.
• Created by Dr Roger Mugford — Halti has more than 40 years of experience addressing leash pulling.
• Pairs with the double-clip Halti Training Leash — offers a compatible option for no-pull training.

Leash pulling can make walks difficult to manage. The Halti Headcollar is a training aid for guiding a dog’s direction: its approach is to guide the head so the body follows. It is made for leash training and everyday walks where a handler wants more control over direction.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

The Halti Headcollar is designed to help stop pulling by gently steering your dog’s head and guiding its direction. This gives the handler a way to redirect the dog during a walk, rather than relying only on leash pressure to manage pulling. Halti presents it as a humane training tool, including for strong pullers.

• Use the head-guidance approach to redirect your dog while walking.
• Designed as a leash-pulling training aid, not simply as a decorative accessory.

Is the Halti Headcollar designed for comfort during walks?

Yes. The Halti Headcollar combines lightweight nylon webbing with a padded neoprene nose band. Its design does not interfere with panting, eating or drinking, allowing those activities while the headcollar is worn.

• The nose band is padded with neoprene.
• The webbing is both strong and lightweight.

How do visibility and the safety link work?

Reflective accents help make the Halti Headcollar more visible in low light, and its safety link attaches to your dog’s collar. For a no-pull training setup, Halti recommends pairing it with the double-clip Halti Training Leash.

• The safety link connects the headcollar to your dog’s collar.
• The recommended companion leash has a double-clip design.
