Halti Dog Training Headcollar, Size 2 Burnt Orange with Padded Nose Band

Halti Headcollar is a size 2 training headcollar in burnt orange for medium dogs, designed to guide your dog’s head and address leash pulling.

• Gentle steering helps guide your dog’s direction on walks.
• Strong, lightweight nylon webbing and a padded neoprene nose band combine strength with a softer contact point.
• Designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking.
• Reflective accents improve visibility in low light.
• A safety link connects the headcollar to your dog’s collar.
• Created by Dr Roger Mugford, Halti’s first headcollar for dogs draws on more than 40 years of work on leash pulling.

Leash pulling can make walks difficult to manage. This headcollar is made as a training aid for guiding a dog’s movement, rather than relying only on pressure at the neck. It is intended for walking and training situations where pulling is a concern, including with strong pullers.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

It helps by gently steering your dog’s head in the direction you guide, so the body follows. This design gives the handler control while working on leash manners, including with dogs that pull strongly.

• Designed as a head-guiding training tool.
• Made to address pulling through direction, not by restricting panting.

Is the headcollar designed for comfort during walks?

Yes. The Halti Headcollar uses a padded neoprene nose band, while its construction uses strong, lightweight nylon webbing. The design allows your dog to pant, eat and drink while wearing it.

• The padded nose band sits around the nose.
• The headcollar’s design does not interfere with eating or drinking.

What visibility and safety features does it have?

Reflective details make the headcollar more visible in low light, and a safety link connects it to your dog’s collar. These features are part of the design for walks when visibility or keeping the headcollar connected matters.

• Reflective accents are built into every Halti Headcollar.
• The safety link attaches to your dog’s collar.

Which size is this, and what leash works with it?

This burnt orange version is size 2, intended for medium dogs. Halti recommends pairing the headcollar with its double-clip Halti Training Leash for its no-pull training setup.

• Size: 2.
• Colour: burnt orange.
• Suggested pairing: double-clip Halti Training Leash.

Halti Headcollar suits handlers working on leash pulling with a medium dog who need a head-guiding training aid for walks. Its size 2 fit, padded nose band, reflective accents and collar safety link bring the key training and walking features together in one headcollar.
