Halti Headcollar for Large Dogs, Size 4 Forest Green, with Padded Nose Band

The Halti Headcollar is a Size 4 training headcollar for large dogs, designed to help guide dogs that pull on the leash with a padded neoprene nose band.

• Gentle steering helps guide your dog’s direction and address leash pulling.
• Strong, lightweight nylon webbing provides the headcollar’s main construction.
• A padded neoprene nose band is designed for comfort during walks.
• Reflective accents improve visibility in low light, and a safety link attaches to your dog’s collar.
• Its design allows panting, eating and drinking while the headcollar is worn.

Leash pulling can make walks difficult to manage, especially with a large dog. The Halti Headcollar is made as a training aid that gives the handler a way to guide the dog by directing the head. Size 4 is the size identified for large dogs, and the forest green colour gives this version its distinctive finish.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

The Halti Headcollar is designed to steer and guide your dog’s direction rather than control movement through a collar around the neck. Its training approach follows the principle that guiding the head influences the direction of the body. Halti presents it as a humane aid for dogs that pull, including strong pullers.

• Developed by Dr Roger Mugford as a training aid for leash pulling.
• Created around head guidance as a way to influence walking direction.

What materials and safety details does it have?

The headcollar combines nylon webbing with a padded neoprene nose band. Reflective details are included for low-light visibility, while a separate safety link connects the headcollar to your dog’s collar.

• The safety link provides an additional attachment to the dog’s collar.
• The nose band’s padding is made from neoprene.

Can my dog pant, eat and drink while wearing it?

Yes. The Halti Headcollar is designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking, so these normal actions remain possible while it is worn. For a coordinated no-pull training setup, Halti recommends pairing it with the double-clip Halti Training Leash.

• Size: 4.
• Colour: forest green.
• Halti and Dr Roger Mugford have worked on leash-pulling solutions for over 40 years, and Halti created the first headcollar for dogs.

This headcollar suits owners of large dogs who want a training aid for leash pulling, with head-guiding control and details designed for everyday walks. Its Size 4 fit, padded nose band and collar-attaching safety link define the key features of this forest green option.
