Halti Headcollar for Medium Dogs, Size 3 Desert Sand, Reflective Training Aid

Halti Headcollar is a Size 3, Desert Sand training headcollar for medium dogs, designed to help reduce leash pulling through gentle head guidance.

• Gently steers your dog’s direction — helps redirect leash pulling.
• Reflective accents — make the headcollar more visible in low light.
• Safety link attaches to your dog’s collar — adds a connection between the headcollar and collar.
• Size 3 — intended for medium dogs.
• Made for humane training — guides your dog without relying on forceful steering.

Leash pulling can make walks difficult to manage. This headcollar is made as a training aid for guiding a dog during walks, with a design based on the principle that guiding the head helps direct the body. It is intended for owners working on pulling behaviour, including with strong pullers.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

It gently steers your dog’s head to help guide their direction while walking. The headcollar was designed by Dr Roger Mugford as a training aid for leash pulling, and Halti and Dr Roger Mugford have worked on this challenge for over 40 years.

• Guiding the head is the mechanism used to influence the dog’s direction.
• Its purpose is walking and leash-pulling training.

Can my dog pant, eat, and drink while wearing it?

The Halti Headcollar has a padded neoprene nose band and is designed not to interfere with panting, eating, or drinking. Its webbing is made from strong, lightweight nylon, combining the nose-band padding with a lightweight construction.

• The nose band is padded with neoprene.
• The headcollar uses nylon webbing.

What safety and leash features does it have?

Reflective accents help improve visibility in low light, and a safety link connects the headcollar to your dog’s collar. For a no-pull training setup, Halti recommends pairing the headcollar with its double-clip Halti Training Leash.

• The safety link attaches to your dog’s collar.
• The suggested leash pairing is the double-clip Halti Training Leash.

Halti Headcollar Size 3 in Desert Sand suits owners of medium dogs who want a head-guiding training aid for leash walks, with reflective details and a collar safety link. It is designed to support direction and pulling training while allowing panting, eating, and drinking.
