Halti No-Pull Dog Headcollar, Size 3 Black for Medium Dogs with Padded Nose Band

The Halti Headcollar is a no-pull training headcollar for medium dogs, with a patented head-guiding design and a padded neoprene nose band.

• Patented head-guiding design — gently redirects your dog’s movement to help stop leash pulling.
• Strong, lightweight nylon webbing and a padded neoprene nose band — provide a light strap with padding at the nose.
• Allows panting, eating and drinking — supports these normal activities while the headcollar is worn.
• Reflective accents and a safety link for the dog’s collar — add visibility in low light and a connecting safety feature.
• Suitable for passive anti-pull use or active training — fits different ways of working on leash behaviour.

Leash pulling can make walks harder to manage and training less straightforward. The Halti Headcollar is designed to guide a dog’s direction through gentle head steering, giving handlers a way to address pulling or use the headcollar as part of active training. This black Size 3 model is intended for medium dogs.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

Its patented design gently steers the dog’s head, which guides the direction of movement. The head-guiding action is designed to help stop pulling on the leash and can be used either as a passive way to manage pulling or as an active training aid.

• Created by Dr. Roger Mugford, an animal behaviorist and activist.
• Halti’s headcollar was invented in 1979.
• Millions of Halti Headcollars have been sold worldwide.

Can a dog pant, eat and drink while wearing it?

Yes. The Halti Headcollar is designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking. It is made from strong, lightweight nylon webbing and has a padded neoprene nose band. The soft material and considered construction can also have a calming effect in many dogs.

• Soft padding is positioned on the nose band.
• The design accommodates panting, eating and drinking.
• The headcollar is approved and recommended by vets, trainers and canine professionals worldwide.

What are the size and safety features of this model?

This is the black Size 3 Halti Headcollar for medium dogs. Halti makes the headcollar in six sizes for dogs of different breeds and sizes, so this model is the medium-dog option within that range. Reflective details are designed to improve visibility in low light, and a safety link connects the headcollar to the dog’s collar.

• Size: 3; intended for medium dogs.
• Colour: black.
• For a paired training setup, Halti recommends using the headcollar with its double-clip Halti Training Leash.

Halti created what it identifies as the first headcollar for dogs, and the brand and Dr. Roger Mugford have worked on leash-pulling problems for over 40 years. The Size 3 model suits owners of medium dogs who want a head-guiding aid for everyday leash management or active behaviour training. Its nylon construction, padded nose band, reflective accents and collar safety link bring the key features together in one headcollar.
