Country Brook Design’s Country Brook Petz Martingale Dog Collar is a no-buckle training collar for helping dogs stay on leash, with a 1-inch-wide medium fit for 15–21-inch necks.

• No-buckle martingale design — slips over the dog’s head and tightens gently when pulled.
• Medium size, 1-inch width, 15–21-inch neck range — gives medium-sized dogs a defined fit range to compare.
• 100% nylon webbing with nickel-plated steel hardware — pairs ribbed webbing with steel hardware.
• Limited closure — helps prevent the collar from tightening too far.
• Made in the USA — produced domestically with attention to detail.
• Available in 20 vibrant colors — this selection is red.

Some dogs can slip out of ordinary collars during a walk or training session. This martingale design is made to provide gentle control when the leash is pulled, while its limited closure helps keep tightening controlled. It is intended for walks and training, including use with puppies and service dogs, and is not designed for tie-out.

How does the martingale collar help during walks and training?

When pulled, the collar tightens gently to help prevent a dog from slipping out. Its limited closure keeps the tightening range restricted, providing control without allowing the collar to become too tight. The no-buckle design slips over the head, so there is no buckle fastening to manage when putting it on or taking it off.

• Made for leash walks and training sessions.
• Designed for dogs that tend to slip out of collars, including puppies and service dogs.
• Not intended for tie-out use.

What size should I choose for a medium-sized dog?

The medium collar fits necks measuring 15–21 inches and is 1 inch wide. The stated fit examples include Corgis, Pugs, and Dalmatians. Measure your dog’s neck and compare it with the 15–21-inch range to choose the appropriate fit; this size is intended for medium-sized dogs.

• Size: Medium.
• Neck range: 15–21 inches.
• Width: 1 inch.

What materials and construction does the collar use?

The webbing is made from 100% nylon and has a ribbed, soft, sleek finish. Nickel-plated steel hardware provides the metal components, while the hardware has a mirror-like finish. Colorfast dye is used to help prevent the color from fading or running.

• Handcrafted construction.
• Red is the selected color; the range includes 20 vibrant colors.
• Made in the USA.

This collar suits owners of medium-sized dogs who want a no-buckle option for leash walks or training, particularly when a dog may slip out of a regular collar. Its measured neck range helps with fit selection, and its martingale closure is intended for controlled leash use rather than tie-out. For a medium dog with a 15–21-inch neck, it combines a 1-inch nylon webbing collar with a limited-tightening design.
