For horses needing face coverage, this mask brings together a half-face profile and features aimed at protection and a comfortable fit. Its design addresses practical concerns such as visibility, rubbing, gaps and pressure from the mask. The large eye space is a defining part of the LumiVista design, while the mesh, closures and padding each serve a distinct role.

What protection does the LumiVista horse fly mask provide?

The mask uses midge-proof, breathable fabric and translucent fine mesh with lab-tested UV protection. The breathable material is intended to offer skin-friendly protection, and the mesh provides high visibility. These features make it a considered choice when you want face coverage that pairs protection with a clear mesh design.

• Fine mesh is translucent.
• UV protection has been lab-tested.
• The fabric is designed to be breathable and midge-proof.

How is the mask designed around the horse’s face?

Harrison Howard shapes the half-face mask anatomically, with large eye space and thick fleece padding. The shaped design is intended for comfort and durability without rubbing. Padding helps avoid gaps and prevent pressure marks, addressing common fit concerns through the mask’s construction.

• Anatomical shaping follows the mask’s intended face-fit design.
• Large eye space is a prominent design feature.
• Fleece padding is used to address gaps and pressure marks.

How does the LumiVista mask stay in place?

Secure touch closures work with resistant material to help the mask stay put. The closures provide the fastening, while the material is designed to resist wear; the product data does not give a specific material composition or care method. Its half-face format and anatomical shape define the mask, so consider those design features when choosing it for your horse.

• Fastens with touch closures.
• Uses resistant material.
• Made as a half-face horse mask, not a full-face design.

The Harrison Howard LumiVista is suited to horse owners looking for a half-face fly mask with midge-proof breathable fabric, translucent mesh and a large eye space. Its fleece padding and touch closures address fit and staying-in-place concerns, while lab-tested UV protection is built into the mesh design. It is a half-face mask shaped for protective coverage rather than a full-face mask.
