HASHIMOTO Dog Grooming Scissors, 5-Inch Rounded Tips for Detail Trimming

HASHIMOTO Small Dog Grooming Scissors are 5-inch straight shears for detail trimming around a dog’s face, nose, ears, eyes and paws, with rounded tips and a micro-serrated blade.

• 5-inch grooming scissors — sized for localized trimming on small dogs.
• Rounded safety ball tips — help reduce the risk of accidental pokes during close grooming.
• Micro-serrated blade — helps keep hair from slipping while you trim.
• Straight scissor design — provides a direct cutting edge for small grooming areas.
• Made for face, nose, ear, eye and paw hair — focuses on areas that call for careful trimming.

Trimming around a dog’s face and paws calls for control in smaller areas. These scissors are designed for those detail-grooming tasks, including the hair around the nose, ears and eyes. Their rounded ends and hair-gripping blade address two practical concerns during a close trim: reducing the chance of an accidental poke and helping hair stay in place as you cut.

What areas can these dog grooming scissors trim?

HASHIMOTO Small Dog Grooming Scissors are intended for trimming hair around a dog’s face, nose, ears, eyes and paws. Their small-dog grooming focus suits localized touch-ups rather than describing a general-purpose coat-trimming tool.

• Use area: face and nose hair.
• Use area: hair around the ears and eyes.
• Use area: paw hair.

Do the rounded tips help with close grooming?

Yes. The rounded safety ball tips are designed to help prevent accidental pokes or injury while trimming. This rounded-tip design is relevant when working near a dog’s face, eyes or ears, where careful handling matters.

• Tip style: rounded safety ball tips.
• Designed to reduce the chance of an accidental poke during trimming.

How does the blade handle hair?

The straight scissors have a micro-serrated blade that helps prevent hair from slipping during grooming. This feature supports controlled trimming across the small areas these scissors are designed to address.

• Blade style: straight scissors with micro-serration.
• Intended benefit: helps keep hair from sliding during a trim.
• Scissor length: 5 inches (12.7 cm).

These HASHIMOTO scissors suit dog owners grooming small, specific areas such as the face, ears and paws, especially when rounded tips and a blade designed to grip hair are priorities. Their 5-inch length, ball-tip ends and micro-serrated straight blade make them a focused option for detail trimming rather than a tool described for full-body clipping.
