Heeyoo Foldable Dog Car Steps, 5-Step Wide Stairs for Stable SUV Access

Heeyoo Foldable Dog Steps are portable vehicle stairs designed to help dogs get into cars, SUVs and trucks, with five steps and a 9.9 lb (4.49 kg) weight.

• Five-step design at 9.9 lb (4.49 kg) — easier to lift than heavier all-metal stairs, at half their weight.
• High-strength metal and reinforced plastic construction — designed to stay stable for large dogs.
• 17 in (43.18 cm) wide steps with deep-molded, waterproof texture — help paws grip in rain, snow and mud.
• Foam-padded top handles and stainless carabiner clips — help protect the vehicle and secure the stairs to a trunk latch.
• Rubber feet — grip the ground while the stairs are in use.
• Accordion fold — stores flat behind a seat or in a trunk corner.

Getting into a vehicle can be difficult for dogs that are seniors or need a gentler way to climb. These stairs are made primarily for access to an SUV or truck trunk and cargo area, with a gradual rise intended to reduce the need for jumping or climbing a steep ramp. Their fold-flat design also makes them practical to keep in the vehicle between uses.

Will these dog steps fit my vehicle?

Heeyoo Foldable Dog Steps are intended first for SUV and truck trunks or cargo areas. They may also fit many side or rear doors when the opening has enough clearance, so measure the opening before choosing that placement.

• For side- or rear-door use, the opening must be wider than 17 in (43.18 cm).
• The steps attach to a trunk latch with the stainless carabiner clips to help keep them from sliding.

How do the stairs help dogs climb into a vehicle?

The low, gradual rise is designed to be gentler on a dog’s hips and knees than jumping into a vehicle or using a steep ramp. This makes the stair design relevant for senior dogs and dogs that benefit from a step-by-step route into the cargo area.

• Use the steps as an alternative to jumping or climbing a steep ramp.
• The wide, textured treads provide paw contact across each step.

What makes the steps stable and practical to use?

The stairs combine high-strength metal with reinforced plastic rather than using an all-metal construction. The molded tread texture is waterproof and designed to maintain paw grip in wet or muddy conditions; foam padding on the top handles helps prevent scratches on the vehicle.

• Clip the stainless carabiners to the trunk latch before use.
• Ground-contact rubber feet are designed to grip the surface beneath the stairs.

Heeyoo Foldable Dog Steps suit dog owners who want a vehicle-access aid that can be lifted and stored in the car, especially for senior dogs or dogs that need a gradual climb. They are best suited to SUV and truck trunk or cargo access, with side- or rear-door use dependent on the opening width. Five steps, a fold-flat design and a 9.9 lb (4.49 kg) weight make them a compact option for vehicle use.
