Hompet Cat Litter Mats, 2-Pack 54 x 54, Waterproof and Machine Washable

Hompet Cat Litter Mat is a two-mat, machine-washable set designed to catch tracked litter and help protect floors, with a four-layer construction and a waterproof barrier.

• 54 x 54 size — creates a wider area around the litter box to help contain scattered litter.
• Textured surface — helps lift loose litter from paws, with debris left on top for shake-off.
• Designed for 300+ washes — supports repeated use and cleaning.
• Anti-slip backing — grips tile, wood, and laminate floors.
• Multi-purpose design — can also serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

Litter tracked beyond the box can spread across floors, while liquid from a litter-box miss can reach the surface underneath. Hompet’s large-format mats create a wider zone around the box for multi-cat homes and busy litter areas. The set is made for regular use, straightforward shake-off, and machine washing when a deeper clean is needed.

How does the mat catch litter from my cat’s paws?

The textured surface helps lift loose litter as your cat steps out of the box. Unlike groove or honeycomb designs that hold debris deeper in the mat, this surface keeps litter accessible for shaking off. That makes it easier to clear the mat between washes.

• Loose litter stays on the surface for shake-off.
• The 54 x 54 size provides a broad zone around the litter box.
• The design suits multi-cat households and high-traffic litter areas.

How does it help protect the floor from urine?

A four-layer system combines a soft top layer, an extra-heavy absorbency core, and a 100% waterproof barrier. The core is designed to lock in moisture and help reduce odors, while the barrier helps prevent liquid and urine from seeping through to the floor.

• Absorbent core helps contain moisture from litter-box misses.
• Waterproof barrier helps keep the floor beneath the mat protected.

Will the mat stay in place and feel comfortable under paws?

The soft quilted fabric is designed to feel gentle on sensitive paws, and the anti-slip backing grips tile, wood, or laminate. Together, these features make the mat suitable for daily use beside a litter box.

• Quilted fabric provides a soft surface for cats to step onto.
• Backing is made to grip tile, wood, and laminate flooring.

How do I clean the mats, and what else can they be used for?

The mats are machine washable and designed to handle 300+ washes without losing performance. Shake loose litter from the surface, then wash the mat as needed. The two-piece set also makes it possible to rotate mats during cleaning, and each mat can serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

• Machine washing supports repeat cleaning and reuse.
• If folds remain after unpacking, they should relax after a few days of regular use.
• To help folds flatten sooner, fold the mat in the opposite direction, place a heavy object on it, or wash it once before first use.

Hompet Cat Litter Mat suits cat owners who want a wide litter-catching area, washable floor coverage, and additional uses around the home. It is especially suited to multi-cat or high-traffic litter spaces, with a textured surface for easy shake-off and a waterproof layer beneath the absorbent core.
