Hompet Large Cat Litter Mats, 2 Pack, 72 x 72, Washable and Waterproof

Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2 Pack provides a broad, machine-washable area around the litter box to catch tracked litter and help protect floors, with a four-layer absorbent, waterproof construction.

• Two mats measuring 72x72 each — keep one in use while the other is being washed.
• Textured top surface — helps lift loose litter from paws for quick shake-off.
• Four-layer construction with an absorbent core and waterproof barrier — helps contain moisture above the floor.
• Anti-slip backing — grips tile, wood, and laminate floors.
• Designed to handle 300+ washes — clean and reuse the mats over time.

Scattered litter can spread beyond the box, especially in busy litter areas and multi-cat homes. Hompet’s generously sized mats create a wider landing zone for cats stepping out of the box, helping keep tracked litter closer to the source. The two-piece set also makes it easier to maintain a clean mat while its partner is in the wash.

How does the mat help catch litter?

The textured surface helps lift loose litter from your cat’s paws as they step onto the mat. Litter remains on the surface rather than settling deep inside grooves or a honeycomb pattern, so you can shake it off instead of digging debris out of the mat. This makes the mat useful for litter areas with frequent foot traffic.

• Shake loose litter from the surface for a quick clean-up.
• Dump the collected litter before washing the mat.
• Use the wide coverage to create a cleaner zone around the litter box.

Does it help protect floors from urine and spills?

Yes. The four-layer design combines a soft top, an extra-heavy absorbency core, and a 100% waterproof barrier to help stop liquid and urine from seeping through. The core helps lock in moisture and reduce odors, while the barrier helps shield the floor from litter box misses. The soft quilted fabric is gentle on sensitive paws, and the backing grips tile, wood, or laminate.

• Place it on a compatible hard floor around the litter box.
• The cushioned quilted surface is made for cats to step on comfortably.

How do you wash it, and can it serve other purposes?

Shake or dump off loose litter, then machine wash the mat and reuse it. Hompet’s mats are built to handle 300+ washes without losing performance. The two-mat set lets you rotate them so one can stay ready while the other is being cleaned. Beyond the litter area, each mat can also work as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

• For a newly unpacked mat, folds can relax within a few days of regular use.
• To help it lie flat sooner, fold it in the opposite direction, place a heavy object on it, or wash it once before use.

Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2 Pack suits cat owners who want broad coverage around a litter box, an easy-to-shake surface, and a washable option for regular use. It is also useful for multi-cat households and high-traffic litter areas. Its 72x72 size, waterproof barrier, and two-mat rotation make it a practical fit for keeping a litter zone easier to manage.
