Hygger CO2 2L Aquarium CO2 Generator System with Timer and Stainless Steel Bottle

Hygger CO2 2L Aquarium Generator System is a DIY CO2 supply kit for aquarium plants, built around a 2L bottle made from 1.2 mm SUS304 stainless steel.

• 1.2 mm SUS304 steel bottle, 20% thicker than standard tanks — provides a metal alternative to plastic-bottle generators.
• Pressure relief valve activates above 30-35KG — adds a pressure-release feature to the system.
• 12V solenoid valve and timer control — set when CO2 injection starts and how long it runs.
• Regulator, precision needle valve, filter and adjustable bubble counter — control and monitor CO2 delivery.
• Citric acid and sodium bicarbonate powders are not included — buy these separately to generate CO2.

This system is made for aquariums with plants that use CO2 injection. Its adjustable controls let you manage injection timing and bubble flow, while the bottle-based setup is designed for DIY operation. Prepare the required powders separately before using the generator.

What comes with the Hygger CO2 generator kit?

The kit includes the stainless-steel bottle and components for regulating and directing CO2 through the aquarium setup. The bubble counter is adjustable and has a built-in check valve to help prevent aquarium water from flowing back into the CO2 tank.

• Regulator and precision needle valve
• 12V solenoid valve and filter
• Adjustable bubble counter with built-in check valve

How do the timer and safety features work?

Connect the solenoid valve to a timer to choose the injection schedule and duration. The automatic pressure relief valve activates when pressure exceeds 30-35KG. The motorized valve can make a soft sound as it switches on or off; this is normal, and it runs quietly during normal operation.

• Keep the motorized valve away from water; it is not waterproof.
• The solenoid valve is designed to help prevent leakage risks.

What do I need to prepare before using it?

Purchase citric acid and sodium bicarbonate powders separately; they are not supplied with the system. Soak the diffuser in the aquarium for 24 hours before use. At startup, bubbles may take a short time to appear because the initial air pressure is low.

• If bubbles do not appear after waiting, inspect the tube connections for leaks.
• Keep water away from the motorized valve during setup and operation.

Who is this aquarium CO2 system for?

It suits aquarium keepers who want a DIY CO2 generator with adjustable injection timing and bubble control for planted tanks. The setup requires separately sourced reaction powders and careful placement of the motorized valve away from water.

• For aquarium plant CO2 injection
• For users who want to set injection timing with a timer

Hygger CO2 is a fit for planted-aquarium owners seeking a bottle-based generator with regulated, schedulable CO2 delivery. Its 2L stainless-steel bottle, adjustable controls and timer-compatible solenoid bring the core system components together in one kit.
