Jebao MCP-180 WiFi Aquarium Wave Maker Pump, 6,736–9,642 GPH Crossflow

The Jebao MCP-180 is a WiFi-controlled cross flow aquarium wave maker designed to circulate water in a 360-degree pattern, with a listed flow range of 6736–9642 GPH.

• Crossflow design returns water around the pump — helping create broad circulation without dead spots.
• WiFi control for iOS and Android, plus a manual LCD controller — adjust circulation and wave settings.
• Four selectable flow modes — choose classic wave, sine wave, random wave or constant flow.
• Dry-running and locked-rotor protection — electronic detection shuts the pump down when no water is detected.
• Rated power of 65W, with 100–240V 50/60Hz input and DC 24V output — check electrical fit for your aquarium setup.
• A 10-minute feeding pause — stop circulation briefly, then return to the regular routine.

Marine and reef aquariums need water movement suited to their rockwork and livestock. The MCP-180 combines crossflow circulation with adjustable wave settings, so you can select a pattern for your aquarium layout and change settings using the app or the included manual LCD controller.

How does the MCP-180 circulate aquarium water?

Its crossflow system uses a double impeller design to create broad water movement, with flow returning directly around the pump through 360 degrees. This approach is designed to help avoid dead spots and create a different flow pattern from a conventional wavemaker. Position the pump to suit the rockwork and livestock flow needs in your aquarium.

• Listed flow range: 6736–9642 GPH.
• Sine wave motor supports smooth operation and adjustable circulation.
• Designed for water movement in marine and reef aquariums.

Which wave settings and controls are available?

You can choose classic wave, sine wave, random wave or constant flow. The pump supports WiFi adjustment through iOS and Android, and also has a manual LCD controller for changing aquarium circulation and wave settings.

• Alternating shift to flow mode requires two pumps operating together.
• Short-press the stop button for a 10-minute pause during feeding.

Will the MCP-180 fit my aquarium setup?

The pump measures 13 x 3 x 1.6 inches (33.02 x 7.62 x 4.064 cm), so compare these dimensions with your intended mounting space. Its electrical specifications are 100–240V 50/60Hz input, DC 24V output and 65W rated power, with a 3-prong US plug.

• Electronic protection detects dry running and a locked rotor.
• When no water is detected, the pump shuts down automatically.

The Jebao MCP-180 suits marine and reef aquarium owners looking for adjustable crossflow and multiple wave patterns, with app and manual controls. Its double impeller design, selectable modes and stated size make it a pump for aquarium circulation rather than a general-purpose water pump.
