hygger Programmable Pond Fish Feeder, 5.5 L, LCD Timer for Koi

The hygger Large Programmable Auto Pond Feeder is an outdoor automatic fish feeder for scheduled koi pond feeding, with a 5.5 L food bin and an LCD clock controller.

• Programmable for up to 6 feeding times a day — set a routine for your pond fish.
• 5.5 L storage bin — holds a full load of food for several weeks, depending on fish size and number.
• Made for 4–10 mm pellets or sticks — choose suitable food for the feeder.
• 16 ft (4.9 m) electric wire with no battery requirement — power the feeder by its cord.
• Metal and ABS plastic construction with a snap lid — suited to outdoor pond use and wildlife protection.

When you are away on vacation or a business trip, scheduled dispensing helps keep feeding on a set routine without requiring you to be beside the pond at each feeding. The feeder is designed for outdoor koi ponds, with a controller for setting feeding times and a manual button for feeding on demand. Its capacity and adjustable portions let you tailor use to your fish and their feeding needs.

How can I set the feeder’s schedule and portions?

The built-in LCD display and clock controller let you program up to 6 feeding times per day, with 0–9 portions selected for each feeding preference. Each portion runs for 8 seconds, and the manual feeding button starts an instant feeding when you want to dispense food outside the programmed schedule. The controller combines timed feeding with an option for hands-on control.

• Use the clock display to program feeding times.
• Select from 0–9 portions according to your preference.
• Press the manual button for an immediate feed.

What fish food fits the hygger pond feeder?

The feeder is designed for 4–10 mm pellets or stick food and is not made for flakes. A full bin can hold up to 5 lb (2.27 kg) of fish food; the 5.5 L storage capacity can last several weeks, depending on how many fish you have and how large they are. Two shaped sliders let you adjust how food is dispensed: the slider with dense grooved rings dispenses less than the other slider.

• Choose pellets or sticks within the stated size range.
• Use the dense-grooved slider when you want to dispense less food.
• Food is not included in the feeder.

How does the feeder mount at a pond?

The feeder mounts at the edge of a pond on a wooden or stone floor and requires a drill and screwdriver for installation. It has a metal and ABS plastic body, a snap lid for refilling, and a 16 ft (4.9 m) electric wire, so it operates without batteries. The lid and weather-resistant design help keep the feeder suited to outdoor use and safe from wildlife.

• Overall size: 20.7 in (52.6 cm) long × 14.2 in (36.1 cm) high.
• Storage bin: 10.6 in (26.9 cm) high × 7 in (17.8 cm) in diameter.
• Wipe the feeder clean for routine maintenance.

The hygger feeder suits pond owners who want to set feeding times while away and control portion settings for outdoor fish, especially koi. It is intended for pellets or sticks rather than flake food, and installation uses tools at a wooden or stone pond edge. Its scheduled controller, adjustable sliders, and 5.5 L bin bring timed feeding and food storage together in one pond-mounted feeder.
