IOAOI Nano Aquarium Sump Return Pump, 185GPH DC 12V with Adjustable Flow Controller

IOAOI Nano Return Pump is a DC 12V aquarium sump return pump that moves up to 700L/H (185GPH) while using 9 watts of power.

• 700L/H (185GPH) flow at 9 watts — supports water return with low power consumption.
• DC 12V bottom-suction design — draws water from a low level in the sump.
• Three controller modes — choose constant flow, wave making or feeding mode.
• Adjustable flow across gears 1 to 10 — select the pump output that suits your setup.
• Operating noise below 28 dB — water flow is the audible sound.
• No metal parts, with a ceramic shaft containing graphite — designed for freshwater or saltwater use without rust.

A sump return pump helps move water back toward the aquarium, and the IOAOI Nano is made for that role in indoor aquarium systems. Its adjustable controller provides a choice of flow modes and levels, while low-water-level operation and dry-burning protection support use as the sump water level changes. The compact pump body and two included nozzle sizes offer options for connecting the return flow.

How can I adjust the pump’s flow?

Use the controller to select constant flow, wave-making or feeding mode, then adjust the output using gears 1 through 10. This gives you multiple settings for changing water movement without replacing the pump. Its rated output is 700L/H (185GPH), with power consumption of 9 watts.

• Controller provides three operating modes.
• Flow adjustment spans gears 1 to 10.
• DC 12V operation is the product’s stated safety feature.

What size pump and connections does it have?

The pump measures 2.1 × 2.1 × 4.5 inches (5.3 × 5.3 × 11.4 cm) and comes with two nozzles: 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) and 0.45 inches (1.1 cm). Compare these dimensions with the available space in your sump and the connection you intend to use. A 9-foot (2.74 m) power cord provides the connection to a power source, and the pump is for indoor use only.

• Two nozzle sizes are included: 0.6-inch and 0.45-inch.
• Low-water operation and dry-burning protection are built into the pump.
• Indoor use only.

Can this return pump be used in saltwater?

Yes. The IOAOI Nano Return Pump is designed for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Its construction has no metal parts and uses a ceramic shaft with graphite added inside; the product is specified as rust-free. The pump is intended for aquarium use indoors, with the bottom-suction intake supporting operation at low water levels.

• Suitable for freshwater or saltwater.
• Bottom suction draws water from a low level.
• Below-28 dB operating noise, with water flow as the audible sound.

This pump suits aquarium keepers who need a controllable return pump for an indoor sump, including saltwater setups, and want selectable flow modes plus low-water operation. Its 12V, 9-watt design, adjustable controller and two nozzle options define its fit for that use.
