Jasonwell Magnetic Aquarium Glass Algae Cleaner, Large (L), Floating Brush

Jasonwell Magnetic Aquarium Fish Tank Glass Algae Glass Cleaner Scrubber Floating Clean Brush (L) is a magnetic scrubber for removing algae and scum from common glass aquariums, with a floating inner brush and felt-lined cleaning pads.

• Magnetic inner brush follows the outer handle — clean the inside glass by moving the handle outside the tank.
• Floating inner piece — retrieve it easily if the two pieces separate.
• Felt-lined, anti-scratch cleaning pads — scrub algae from aquarium glass.
• Non-slip handle — maintain a secure grip while cleaning.
• Designed for common glass tanks, not acrylic or low-iron glass — choose the size to suit your glass thickness.

Keeping aquarium glass clear of algae and scum means cleaning the inside surface as well as the outside. This scrubber is made for that task: its paired magnetic pieces let you guide the interior cleaner from outside the tank, without reaching down to move the brush by hand. The L size is one option in the range; glass thickness is the key fit consideration.

How does the magnetic aquarium scrubber clean the glass?

The inner cleaning piece follows the outer handle through magnetic attraction. Move the handle along the outside of the aquarium glass, and the inside piece tracks with it, wiping the interior surface as you go. The cleaning pads are felt-lined and designed to remove algae without scratching the glass.

This linked movement gives you a simple way to guide the scrubber across the tank wall. The scrubber is made from plastic and high-magnet material, with a non-slip grip on the outer handle to support controlled movement.

• Move the outer handle to guide the inner brush.
• Use the pads on aquarium glass to clean away algae and scum.
• The inner piece is designed to float rather than sink if separated.

Will the Jasonwell cleaner work with my aquarium glass?

It is made for common glass fish tanks and is not intended for acrylic or low-iron glass. Choose the size according to your aquarium glass thickness; larger scrubber sizes have stronger magnets. The product is marked L, but no glass-thickness measurement is provided here, so match the size to your tank glass rather than assuming all glass tanks have the same fit.

Magnet strength matters because the two cleaning pieces need to stay aligned across the glass while you move the outer handle. Selecting a size for the thickness of your tank glass helps you choose the appropriate magnetic pull for that surface.

• Suitable surface: common aquarium glass.
• Not designed for: acrylic or low-iron glass.
• Size selection: base it on glass thickness; larger sizes have stronger magnets.

What happens if the inner brush comes away?

The inner cleaning piece floats, making it easier to retrieve if it separates from the outer handle. This feature helps prevent the inner magnet from being lost at the bottom of the aquarium while you clean.

The brush and outer handle work as a pair during cleaning, while the floating inner piece provides a practical recovery feature if that magnetic connection is interrupted. The non-slip handle and felt-lined pads are part of the cleaning setup; no installation or assembly step is described.

• Inner piece: floats when separated.
• Outer piece: handled from outside the aquarium.
