This tether gives dogs room to move outdoors while keeping the handler hands-free during supervised use. It is made for everyday time in a yard or garden, as well as outdoor settings such as campsites and RV areas. The cable is intended for small, medium, and large dogs, including dogs that pull, chew, or play outside.

How does the cable help with sudden pulling and tangles?

The spring helps soften abrupt stops, while the 360° rotating swivel allows the cable to turn as a dog circles. Together, these features help manage the sharp movement and twisting that can happen during active outdoor use. A heavy-duty screw-lock carabiner provides a locking connection at the attachment point.

• Use the locking clip with a secure tree, post, or compatible stake.
• The swivel is designed to reduce cable twist and tangling as a dog moves.

What is the cable made to handle outdoors?

The lead has a stainless steel wire core covered with vinyl, a construction designed to help resist abrasion, breakage, moisture, and daily outdoor wear. Its reflective finish improves visibility in low-light conditions, which can help make the cable easier to see around a yard, garden, campsite, or RV area.

• Suitable for supervised outdoor tethering with small, medium, and large dogs.
• Made for use in damp grass and other everyday outdoor conditions.

How long is this lead, and what length choices are available?

This jenico listing is for the 20 ft cable; length options across the range run from 10 to 150 ft (3.0 to 45.7 m). Choose a length that gives your dog suitable supervised space for the intended area, whether that is a backyard, garden, or campsite.

• Attach it to a secure tree, post, or compatible stake.
• Keep the dog supervised while tethered outdoors.

Is the lead easy to carry between outdoor settings?

Yes. The lightweight cable coils for easier carrying and storage, making it practical to take between home and outdoor outings. It is designed for yard, garden, camping, and RV-area use where a secure tether point is available.

• The cable can be coiled after use for storage.
• A secure attachment point is needed for setup.
