Cats need an appropriate place to scratch, and an indoor scratching post can help direct that instinct away from household furnishings. Kicari combines a tall post for stretching with a natural wood look, so the scratching area can sit in a living space while serving a daily feline activity. Its size is intended for kittens and adult cats.

Does the post give cats room to stretch and scratch?

Yes. At 29 inches tall, the post gives cats more vertical room for a full-body stretch than a shorter scratcher. The sisal-wrapped surface is designed to encourage scratching and help redirect claws from sofas, carpets, and walls. Regular scratching also supports claw maintenance and muscle activity as part of everyday movement.

• Made for indoor cats, including kittens and adult cats.
• Supports scratching, stretching, and active play.

What are the post and base made from?

The post is crafted from real pear wood, whose natural grain varies from piece to piece. Unlike carpet-covered scratchers, its wood design brings a different look to home décor; the product is also described as safe and odor-free for cats. The base is rubber wood and measures 1.2 inches thick: a 0.6-inch solid core is paired with a 0.6-inch edge-wrapped frame.

• The base uses a reinforced, one-piece structure.
• Its edge-wrapped frame is part of the base construction.

How does the scratching post assemble?

The compact post comes with tools for assembly. For the intended stable setup, place the base with its edge-wrapped side facing down. A dangling plush ball gives cats an additional feature to engage with during play, helping keep the post interactive beyond scratching.

• Assembly tools are included.
• The hanging ball is plush.

This post suits cat owners looking for an indoor scratching spot that combines a natural wood appearance, room for vertical stretching, and an interactive detail. It is designed for kittens and adult cats, with a sisal scratching surface and a reinforced rubber wood base built into one compact unit.
