Swimming can be a new experience for some dogs, while others are ready to paddle in a lake, ocean, or pool. The Surf n' Turf is made for active dogs who need flotation support in the water, with visibility and handling features suited to time spent swimming.

How does the Surf n' Turf support a dog in the water?

The jacket’s streamlined flotation layer helps your dog stay afloat while swimming. Its athletic fit is designed for comfortable all-day wear, making it suitable for active outings around the water. The two perpendicular control handles give you a way to lift or guide your dog out of the water.

• Designed for swimming in lakes, oceans, and pools.
• Two handles sit perpendicular to one another for water extraction.

How does the jacket help with visibility and leash attachment?

Chili Red fabric is brightly colored for visibility from a distance, while reflective trim is intended to improve visibility in low light and at night. A metal D-ring gives you a place to attach a leash.

• Reflective trim adds a visible detail for low-light conditions.
• The D-ring is metal and intended for leash attachment.

How do I choose the Medium size?

Choose Medium for a dog with a chest girth of 24–32 in (61–81 cm) and a neck measurement of 18–27 in (46–69 cm). The jacket also has adjustable belly and chest straps to help create a snug, customized fit, plus buckles designed for easy on and off. Kurgo offers five sizes, with Medium covering the ranges above.

• Measure chest girth and neck to compare with the Medium fit range.
• Adjust both the belly and chest straps for fit.

What is the jacket made from, and what protection does Kurgo provide?

The Surf n' Turf combines rugged ripstop material with a neoprene liner. Kurgo builds its products for life and protects new purchases from authorized dealers against manufacturer defects.

• Ripstop material forms the jacket’s exterior.
• A neoprene liner is included in the jacket’s construction.

The Kurgo Surf n' Turf is suited to active dogs and owners planning swimming outings who want flotation support, visibility details, and handles for water retrieval. Medium is for dogs within its stated chest and neck ranges, and adjustable straps help tailor the fit.
