Kurgo Dog Seatbelt Tether, Orange Adjustable Swivel Car Restraint

Kurgo Direct to Seatbelt Swivel Tether is an adjustable dog car restraint designed to keep your dog secured in the backseat, with an all-steel vehicle buckle tether and swivel carabiner.

• Universal buckle tether — connects to a vehicle seatbelt buckle for car rides.
• Swivel carabiner — helps keep the tether straight and untangled.
• Adjustable length — gives your dog room to sit or lie down while restrained.
• All-steel hardware — made for regular use on daily drives.
• Lifetime warranty — Kurgo backs its products with a lifetime warranty.

This tether is made for dog owners who want to keep a pet secured in the backseat during everyday drives, vet visits, and longer trips. It connects the vehicle to a dog harness, helping keep your dog in place and reduce distractions for the driver. It is a restraint for routine travel, not a crash-tested safety device.

How does the Kurgo tether attach?

Insert the vehicle end into a seatbelt buckle, then clip the carabiner to your dog’s harness. The buckle connection is designed for most standard vehicles, and the smooth leash clip is made for quick harness attachment. Use it with a harness rather than attaching it to a collar.

• One end connects to the vehicle; the other clips to the harness.
• Orange color makes the tether easy to distinguish among travel gear.

Will it fit my car and dog’s harness?

The tether is designed to work with most standard vehicles and most dog harnesses. Its adjustable strap allows some movement while keeping your dog secured in the backseat; your dog can sit or lie down within the tether’s reach.

• Designed for backseat use during car rides.
• Check that your vehicle has a compatible seatbelt buckle and your dog’s harness has a point for clipping.

What should I know about its use and safety?

Kurgo Direct to Seatbelt Swivel Tether is intended for daily driving and is not crash-tested. The swivel connection helps reduce twisting as your dog moves, while the adjustable tether balances restraint with room to change position. Kurgo describes its gear as built for real-world adventures and everyday challenges with dogs.

• Useful for routine outings, from trips to the vet to longer journeys.
• Part of Kurgo’s dog travel gear range.

This tether suits dog owners looking for a straightforward way to connect a harness to a vehicle buckle for everyday backseat travel. It is best understood as a daily-use restraint, rather than crash-tested protection. With an adjustable strap, swivel carabiner, and all-steel hardware, it brings together the key features for keeping a harnessed dog secured on ordinary drives.
