What makes the Tru-Fit suitable for car travel?

The harness is crash-tested for dogs weighing up to 75 lb (34 kg), and the included tether connects it to a vehicle seat belt system. Its steel carabiner and 10-inch (25.4 cm) length provide the connection between harness and seat belt, while all-steel nesting-style buckles secure the harness.

• The tether has a steel carabiner at its connection point.
