Kurgo Swivel Tether for Dogs, Red, 10-Inch Vehicle Restraint

The red Kurgo Swivel Tether is a vehicle restraint for dogs, with a 10-inch (25.4 cm) tether and an aluminum carabiner rated for up to 4,500 pounds-force (20.0 kN).

• Aluminum carabiner with a locking screw gate — connects securely to a dog’s harness.
• Rated for up to 4,500 pounds-force — provides a strong tether connection.
• Built-in swivel — allows movement while helping prevent twisting and tangling.
• 10-inch tether — gives a dog some mobility while riding in the vehicle.
• Seat belt loop — attaches to a standard seat belt system.
• Kurgo lifetime warranty — backs the product for its lifetime.

For car journeys with an active dog, a tether helps keep the dog secured while allowing some movement. The Kurgo Swivel Tether is made for use in a vehicle, from short trips around town to longer road journeys, and its swivel design helps limit tangling that can distract the driver.

How does the Kurgo Swivel Tether attach in a vehicle?

The tether connects to a dog’s harness with its locking screw-gate carabiner and secures to a standard seat belt system using the seat belt loop. This setup provides a vehicle restraint without requiring a special seat belt system.

• Carabiner gate locks with a screw mechanism.
• Seat belt loop is built into the tether.

How much movement does the tether allow?

The 10-inch (25.4 cm) tether gives a dog some mobility while keeping the restraint compact. A built-in swivel lets the tether rotate as the dog moves, helping prevent twists and tangles and reducing a potential distraction for the driver.

• Designed for active dogs as well as calm passengers.
• Connects to a harness, not directly to a collar.

What makes the Kurgo Swivel Tether strong?

Its aluminum carabiner is the type used by arborists and is rated to withstand up to 4,500 pounds-force. A locking screw gate helps keep the harness connection secured during the ride; the tether is designed as an escape-resistant restraint.

• Aluminum carabiner construction.
• Locking screw-gate closure.
• Kurgo products are backed by a lifetime warranty.

The Kurgo Swivel Tether suits dog owners who want a compact vehicle restraint that connects to a harness and standard seat belt system, particularly when their dog moves around during rides. Its short tether, locking carabiner and anti-twist swivel make it a vehicle-focused restraint rather than a general-purpose leash.
