Kurgo Tru-Fit Dog Harness, Ink Blue, Medium, Crash-Tested for Car Travel

The Kurgo Enhanced Strength Tru-Fit Smart Harness is an Ink Blue, medium dog harness for everyday walks and car travel, crash-tested for dogs up to 75 lb (34 kg) and designed with five adjustment points.

• Five adjustment points — help tailor the harness fit to your dog’s shape.
• Broad, padded chest plate — adds padding where the harness sits across the chest.
• All-steel nesting-style buckles — provide the harness’s metal fastening system.
• 10-inch (25.4 cm) seatbelt tether with steel carabiner — connects the harness to a vehicle seatbelt system.
• Back and chest leash attachments — give you two leash connection positions for walks and training.

A dog harness used for both walking and car journeys needs to serve two different routines: everyday leash handling and connection to a vehicle seatbelt system. The Tru-Fit combines those uses in one harness, with an included tether for travel and leash attachment points for walks. Its medium size and Ink Blue color identify this version; the adjustable design lets you set the fit around your dog.

What makes the Tru-Fit suitable for car travel?

The Kurgo Tru-Fit is crash-tested for dogs weighing up to 75 lb (34 kg), and its seatbelt tether connects the harness to a vehicle seatbelt system. This gives the harness a travel function as well as its everyday walking use. The tether attaches with a steel carabiner, while the harness uses all-steel nesting-style buckles. These are concrete design features for shoppers looking for a harness that can be used on car trips as well as outside the vehicle; crash testing does not mean that travel outcomes are guaranteed.

• Inspired by the design of rock-climbing harnesses.
• Built for everyday use as well as road trips.

How can I adjust the harness for my dog?

Five adjustment points let you adjust the Kurgo Tru-Fit around your dog’s shape. The broad, padded chest plate is designed to add comfort where the harness rests across the chest, while the adjustment points help you set a close, secure fit. This medium version is intended for dogs that fit a medium harness; the supplied details do not provide body measurements for comparing against your dog, so use the adjustable design to tailor the fit rather than treating the size name as a measurement.

• Ink Blue color.
• Medium size.

Can the Tru-Fit be used for walks and training?

Yes, the Kurgo Tru-Fit is designed for daily walks and has leash attachments on both the back and the chest. The two positions give you a choice of where to connect the leash; the chest attachment can be used for no-pull training. The harness is intended to serve as a regular walking harness, so you can use the same piece of gear for neighborhood outings and car travel instead of changing harnesses between those activities.

• Two leash connection locations: back and chest.
• Designed for everyday walking and no-pull training use.

What is included for vehicle use?

The Kurgo Tru-Fit comes with a 10-inch (25.4 cm) seatbelt tether fitted with a steel carabiner. Attach the tether to the harness and connect it with a vehicle seatbelt system for car travel. The tether is part of the harness offering, so it is ready to use as the travel connection rather than an accessory that must be sourced separately. For walking, use either of the harness’s leash attachment points instead of the seatbelt tether.

• Included tether has a steel carabiner.
• Connects the harness with a vehicle seatbelt system.

The Kurgo Tru-Fit suits dog owners looking for one harness for daily walks and vehicle trips, especially when a crash-tested design and a supplied seatbelt tether are priorities. Kurgo backs its products with a lifetime warranty, and this harness is machine washable for care after regular use. It brings together adjustable fit, walking attachments and a vehicle tether in a medium, Ink Blue harness.
