Mendota Pet Slip Leash for Large Dogs, Black Confetti, 1/2 in x 6 ft, USA-Made Braided Rope

Mendota Pet Slip Leash is a handcrafted, USA-made dog lead and collar combo for walking and training, made with a braided rope in a 1/2 in x 6 ft (1.27 cm x 1.83 m) size.

• Leash and collar in one — the neck loop and lead are combined in a single design.
• Made for dogs over 50 pounds (22.7 kg) — the large size is suited to larger breeds.
• Multi-filament braided rope with a broken-in feel — soft to hold and pliable to roll up.
• Handmade in the USA — each lead is crafted with oil-tanned leather splices.
• Used by trainers, handlers, and show dogs — designed for walking and training.

A slip lead keeps the collar and leash together, so there is no separate collar-and-leash pairing to manage. This British-style design is made for everyday walks as well as training situations, and its flexible rope can be rolled up and carried in a coat pocket.

How does the leash and collar combination work?

The Mendota Pet Slip Leash uses a loop that slips over your dog’s neck, with the handle end serving as the leash. This one-piece arrangement is known for ease of use and has long been used by professional trainers. The Black Confetti color gives this lead its distinctive appearance.

• Put the neck loop over your dog, then hold the handle end as the lead.
• Its British-style design is intended for walking and training.

What is the rope like to hold and carry?

The Mendota Pet Slip Leash is made from multi-filament braided rope with a soft, broken-in feel. Its pliable construction makes it easy to roll up and tuck into a coat pocket when it is not in use.

• The rope construction combines multiple filaments in a braid.
• The handle and lead are part of the same slip-leash design.
