MEOWFIA Merino Wool Cat Cave, Natural Self-Warming Hideaway for Indoor Cats

MEOWFIA’s hand-felted merino wool cat cave gives indoor cats and kittens a private place to hide, sleep, and rest, with a second lounging surface on top.

• Biodegradable and free from microplastics — a wool hideaway made without microplastic materials.
• Plush wool interior dampens outside noise — creating a quieter place for your cat to retreat.
• Designed for seasonal comfort — helps keep cats warm in winter and cool in summer.
• Natural color helps conceal cat fur, dust, and debris — keeping everyday traces less noticeable.
• Lightweight and portable — easy to move between indoor resting spots.

Cats often seek a sheltered place to sleep, rest, or take a break, while also enjoying a surface they can lounge on. This cave is made for both kinds of downtime: cats can tuck themselves inside or settle on top. Its felted wool construction and natural appearance suit indoor spaces where a cat’s bed is part of the room.

Can my cat use the cave in more than one way?

Yes. Cats can hide, sleep, or rest inside the cave, or lie down, relax, and play on its top surface. The plush interior dampens outside noise and can help ease anxiety by providing a calmer retreat.

• Use the interior as a private resting space.
• Use the top as an open bed or lounging surface.
• Try placing your clothes inside first to help introduce the new hideaway to your cat.

Which MEOWFIA cat cave size suits my cat?

The medium size is suitable for cats weighing up to 10 lb (4.5 kg), including average-sized Sphynx, Abyssinian, and Exotic cats. The large size is intended for cats weighing up to 20 lb (9 kg).

• If your cat falls between the medium and large sizes, choose the larger size.
• Because each cave is handmade, the finished size may vary slightly.

What is the MEOWFIA cat cave made from, and how should I care for it?

Each cave is carefully handcrafted from merino wool that is felted into a soft, lightweight form. The wool is described as ultra-durable, and the cave is portable for moving between indoor resting spots. Wool care matters for keeping its appearance, so follow the brand’s care guidelines.

• The wool interior provides the cave’s plush resting surface.
• The natural-colored exterior helps make fur, dust, and debris less noticeable.

This cave suits indoor cats and kittens that like a sheltered place to retreat as well as an open surface to lounge on. It is especially useful for choosing between enclosed and open resting in one bed, with medium and large sizes serving the stated weight ranges.
