Meruogkar Braided Leather Dog Leash, Brown 2.4 m, 3/4-Inch, Rotating Copper Hook

The Meruogkar Leather Dog Leash is an 8 ft (2.44 m) braided cowhide leash for walking, running and training, with a 360-degree rotating solid copper hook.

• Italian imported cowhide — combines a soft hand feel with a hand-woven construction.
• 8 ft long and 3/4 in wide (1.91 cm) — gives dogs room to move while letting handlers guide them.
• Hand-woven kink construction — helps ease the impact when a dog sprints and pulls.
• Solid copper rotating hook — turns through 360 degrees and is designed to withstand 800 lbs (363 kg) of pulling force.
• Foldable leash design — lets you hold the lead closer when you need a shorter leash.

For walks, training sessions and runs, this leash pairs a long lead with a hand-held leather grip. The woven construction is intended to reduce the sharp tug of a sprint, while the rotating hook lets the connection move as the dog changes direction. Its brown leather-and-copper look suits everyday handling as well as training.

What is the Meruogkar leather leash made for?

It is made for walking, running and dog training with large, medium or small dogs. The 8 ft length provides room for movement, and the leash can be folded to hold the dog closer when needed. The hand-woven kink design helps relieve the impact when a dog surges forward; the handle is made to feel comfortable in hand without the burning sensation associated with a hard pull.

• Brown leather leash with a 3/4 in width.
• Suitable for dogs including German Shepherds, Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Bichon Frises, Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, Labradors and Poodles.
• Professionally tested for use with dogs of different sizes.

How does the leash hook attach and move?

A full solid copper hook connects the leash to a dog’s collar or harness and rotates 360 degrees. Its rotating action allows the connection to turn as the dog moves, and the hook is rated to withstand 800 lbs of pulling force. An electroplated finish completes the metal hardware.

• 360-degree rotating hook.
• Solid copper construction.
• Electroplated finish.

Can I shorten the leash for closer handling?

Yes. The 8 ft lead folds easily so you can hold your dog closer when the situation calls for a shorter leash. Unfolded, it provides the full length for walking, running or training; folded, it offers a closer hold without changing the leash’s attachment.

• Use the full lead when you want more reach.
• Fold the leash to bring your dog closer.
• Designed for training, running and everyday walks.

The Meruogkar leash is suited to handlers who want a leather lead for dogs of varied sizes, with a longer reach for movement and the option of a closer hold. Its Italian cowhide body, hand-woven kink construction and rotating copper hook provide the features for those uses.
