MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone, Medium+ Donut Recovery Collar for Post-Surgery Healing

The MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone is a Medium+ recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting wounds, stitches, and rashes after surgery or during healing.

• Inflatable donut shape — creates a gentle barrier around the dog’s neck.
• Soft, breathable fabric — offers a comfortable alternative to a hard cone.
• Unobstructed vision — lets dogs see while eating, drinking, playing, and moving around the home.
• Inner collar loops and an adjustable buckle — help secure and adjust the fit.
• Non-stick fabric — repels pet hair and can be wiped clean.
• Deflates in seconds — stores compactly for home use or travel.

During recovery, a dog may need a barrier to discourage licking or biting while still being able to manage everyday activities. MIDOG’s inflatable collar is made for that purpose, with a soft donut form rather than a hard, traditional cone. It is intended for home use and travel, and its design allows dogs to rest, eat, drink, and move around without blocked vision.

What does the MIDOG recovery collar help prevent?

The collar forms a gentle barrier intended to help prevent a dog from licking or biting wounds, stitches, and rashes. This barrier is designed to support a faster, undisturbed recovery while the dog heals. The inflatable donut shape provides the barrier without using a hard cone.

• Made for post-surgery and healing periods.
• Helps discourage licking and biting at affected areas.
• Designed as a soft alternative to traditional hard cones.

How does the collar fit and stay in place?

Thread your dog’s everyday collar through the inflatable collar’s inner loops, then adjust the durable buckle for a secure fit. The loops connect the recovery collar to the dog’s regular collar, while the buckle allows the size to be adjusted. The product is identified as Medium+; no numerical sizing measurements are provided here.

• Uses the dog’s everyday collar with the inner loops.
• Adjustable buckle for fit adjustment.
• Medium+ size designation.

Can a dog see, rest, and move around while wearing it?

The design leaves the dog’s vision unobstructed, so they can eat, drink, play, and navigate the home. Its soft, breathable fabric is intended to make resting more comfortable, and the collar can also be used as a pillow. The non-stick fabric repels pet hair and is designed to be wiped clean.

• Allows an unobstructed field of vision.
• Soft, breathable fabric for resting.
• Wipe-clean surface that repels pet hair.

For dog owners looking for a recovery barrier that supports everyday movement and comfortable rest, the MIDOG collar combines an inflatable donut shape with an adjustable buckle and inner loops for a dog’s regular collar. It also deflates in seconds for compact storage, making it suitable for home use or travel. It is a soft, inflatable alternative to a traditional hard cone.
