Recovery wear can help keep a dog from disturbing areas that need time to heal. This collar is made for use after surgery and when a dog has a wound, stitches, or a rash to protect. Its soft donut shape is intended to provide a barrier without the rigid profile of a traditional cone, for use at home or while travelling.

How does the MIDOG collar help protect a healing area?

The inflated collar forms a gentle barrier intended to prevent licking or biting at wounds, stitches, and rashes. By limiting access to the area, it is designed to support a faster, undisturbed recovery. Its soft, breathable fabric gives dogs a cushioned collar to wear during recovery, including when settling down to rest.

• Made for post-surgery recovery and protection of wounds, stitches, or rashes.
• The donut shape provides a soft barrier rather than a hard cone surface.

Can a dog see, eat, and move while wearing it?

The design keeps a dog’s vision unobstructed, unlike a traditional E-collar that can block the view. Dogs can eat, drink, play, and navigate around the home while wearing it, helping everyday activities continue during recovery. The soft collar can also serve as a pillow when the dog lies down.

• Designed to let dogs see their surroundings.
• Allows eating, drinking, playing, and moving around the home.

How does the collar fit, and how can it be stored?

Thread the dog’s everyday collar through the inflatable collar’s inner loops to help keep it in place. A buckle lets you adjust the fit. The fabric repels pet hair and can be wiped clean; the collar deflates in seconds for compact storage between uses or during travel.

• Inner loops work with the dog’s everyday collar.
• Deflates in seconds for compact storage.
• Wipe-clean fabric is designed to repel pet hair.
