Clipping nails and claws, trimming wings, and handling other routine grooming can sometimes cause a small bleed. Kwik Stop is made for those minor grooming-related incidents and superficial cuts, so you can keep a powder-form styptic on hand for the pets in your care.

What is Miracle Care Kwik Stop Styptic Powder for?

It is designed to stop minor bleeding from nail or claw clipping and other superficial cuts. The original Kwik Stop powder has more than five decades of use, and its Benzocaine is included for pain relief from minor superficial cuts.

• Suitable for dogs, cats, and birds.
• Made for grooming-related bleeding, including wing trimming.

How do you apply the powder?

Apply it with a moistened cotton applicator to the cut, nail, or other superficial bleeding area, then use moderate pressure for 5–10 seconds. This gives you a straightforward method to follow when a minor bleed occurs during grooming.

• Use a cotton applicator that has been moistened.
• Keep pressure on the application area for the stated 5–10 seconds.

Where should you use Kwik Stop, and where should you avoid it?

Use the powder only on minor superficial bleeding areas; do not apply it to deep wounds or body cavities. This limit makes it a grooming aid for small cuts and nail or claw clipping, rather than care for a deep injury.

• Form: styptic powder.
• Pack: one tub.

Miracle Care Kwik Stop suits pet owners and grooming professionals who care for dogs, cats, or birds and want a powder-form option for minor grooming-related bleeding. It is made for superficial cuts and clipping incidents, with clear application guidance and a stated limit against use on deep wounds or body cavities.
