MLONDHSU Extra Large Turtle Basking Platform with Artificial Grass, Non-Slip Ramp

MLONDHSU Extra Large Turtle Basking Platform with Artificial Grass creates a basking area for aquarium turtles, with a stepped, non-slip ramp and a soft artificial-grass top.

• Requires an aquarium inside width greater than 15 in (38.1 cm) — helps you check fit before choosing the platform.
• Ramp has steps and drainage holes — gives turtles a non-slip route out of the water.
• Soft, realistic artificial grass — provides a comfortable surface for basking.
• Eight suction cups — four attach to the tank bottom and four grip the side glass.
• PVC water-pipe frame and legs with ABS mesh platform and ramp — defines the platform’s construction.
• Platform and ramp rinse clean with water — makes routine cleaning straightforward.

This platform is made for aquarium turtles that need a route from the water to a dry basking area. Its ramp, grass-covered top and glass-gripping suction cups bring the climbing surface and resting spot together in one aquarium accessory. Check the inside width of your tank as well as its gallon capacity to confirm that the platform is suited to your setup.

Which aquariums can this platform fit?

MLONDHSU’s turtle basking platform is compatible with 50-, 75-, 90- and 120-gallon aquariums, provided the tank’s inside width exceeds 15 in (38.1 cm). The width requirement is important because the platform will not fit every tank with a larger gallon rating.

• It is not suitable for 20-, 25- or 29-gallon tanks, 40-gallon long tanks, or 55-gallon tanks.

How do turtles climb onto the basking area?

The ramp is made from aquarium divider material and has a non-slip surface designed to help turtles climb. Built-in steps and drainage holes provide grip along the route, while the artificial grass on top creates a soft, realistic-feeling place to bask. The ramp is designed to let turtles of any size climb up to the platform.

• The steps and drainage holes are integrated into the ramp.
• The artificial-grass surface is on the platform’s top.

How does the platform stay in place, and how can turtles get used to it?

Four suction cups at the bottoms of the legs attach to the aquarium’s bottom glass, and four more grip the side glass. This two-point arrangement is designed to limit wobbling as large, heavy turtles climb up and down. The frame and legs use PVC water pipe, while ABS mesh sheets form the platform and ramp; rinse those surfaces with water for cleaning.

• For initial familiarization, keep the water level at least halfway up the ramp.
• Place a favorite treat, such as dried shrimp, on the platform and turn on both a basking lamp and a UVB light to encourage your turtle to climb up.

This platform suits turtle keepers whose aquarium matches the stated width and compatible gallon sizes and who want an integrated climb and basking area. Its stepped ramp, artificial-grass top and suction-cup attachment points make it a fit for turtles moving between aquarium water and a basking surface.
