Some cats eat with their whiskers pressed against a narrow bowl, while others lower their heads to reach food or push a dish across the floor. The Fuji combines an extra-wide bowl with an elevated form and a removable grip ring. It is intended for cats that benefit from more room at the bowl, including flat-faced cats, senior cats, messy eaters, and large kittens.

What does the wide, raised shape do?

The wide eating area helps reduce whisker contact, and the raised bowl is designed to lessen neck strain during meals. Its shape also helps keep food centered rather than pushed toward the edges. The ergonomic design is intended to support feeding comfort and digestion; it is a feeding bowl, not a treatment for vomiting or obesity.

• Designed with flat-faced cats in mind.
• Suitable for senior cats, messy eaters, and large kittens.

How much room does the Fuji bowl need?

The bowl measures 6.1 in wide, 4.13 in long, and 1.18 in deep, with legs 2.75 in high and a 4.17 in-wide base. It weighs 1.2 lb. Compare the bowl and base measurements with your cat’s feeding spot to make sure the raised dish fits comfortably.

• The extra-wide format is intended to keep food centered during eating.
• The 4.17 in base width gives you a specific measurement to compare with the available surface.

Does the bowl stay in place, and how do you clean it?

A removable non-slip silicone ring helps hold the bowl in place and reduce sliding or tipping, including when an active cat pushes at the dish. The bowl has a spill-proof design. Its porcelain construction is microwave- and dishwasher-safe, so it can be used for microwave warming and cleaned in a dishwasher.

• The silicone ring can be removed.
• The porcelain is free from lead and cadmium.
• The bowl meets US, EU, and Japanese safety standards.

The Necoichi Fuji is suited to cat owners looking for a wide, elevated feeding bowl for a flat-faced cat, senior cat, messy eater, or large kitten. Its porcelain construction, raised profile, and removable non-slip ring bring the key feeding and cleanup features together in one cat bowl.
