Hamsters are active at night and benefit from opportunities to run. This wheel is made to provide a dedicated place for exercise and activity in a suitable enclosure. Before choosing a spot, make sure your cage or tank has enough room for the 11-inch wheel.

Does the running surface provide room for a hamster’s back?

Yes. The running drum and wide track are designed to let a hamster run without bending its back. Regular wheel activity gives your pet a way to move, build muscle and stay engaged during its nighttime activity.

• Provides a running activity that can help break up boredom.
• Designed to support exercise, strength and mental well-being.

Can I adjust the wheel for different bedding depths?

Yes. You can set the running drum’s bottom height anywhere from 1 inch (about 2.5 cm) to 5.5 inches (about 14 cm). Adjust the clearance to suit the bedding height or the pet’s size, then place the solid base on a stable, level spot.

• Suitable for use in a DIY cage, terrarium or glass tank, or on a platform.
• Allow enough space in the enclosure for the wheel before setting it up.

What is the Niteangel wheel made from?

The running drum is made from PS plastic, and the base is acrylic. The transparent construction is designed to be chew-resistant, while the solid base supports the wheel as a hamster runs or walks on it. Multiple colors are available for choosing a look that fits your habitat decor.
