For training sessions and time outdoors, a long leash can give a dog more room to move while keeping the handler connected. The NTR leash is made for activities including walking, running, hiking, camping, backyard training, beach outings, hunting, and mountain climbing. Its length also lets you attach one end to your body or a tree for hands-free use while training, hiking, or walking.

How does the NTR leash attach?

The leash has swivel hooks at both ends, and one is a bone-shaped hook with a locking latch. Attach the leash at both ends as needed, or fasten one end to your body or a tree when hands-free use is useful. The lockable latch helps keep that hook clasp from opening unexpectedly.

• Two swivel hooks are fitted at opposite ends.
• The bone-shaped hook has a locking latch.
• One end can be tied to the handler or a tree for hands-free activity.

What is the rope made of, and how strong is it?

The rope is made from high-strength, wear-resistant polyester and has a twisted outer skin built with 48 strands. Its construction is described as moderately soft with strong binding ability. Professional tensile testing gives a pull rating of 6–10 KN, supporting controlled use while allowing a dog room to move.

• The twisted outer layer is made for wear resistance.
• The rope has a moderate softness.
• The pull rating is 6–10 KN from professional tensile testing.

Is the NTR leash suited to nighttime and outdoor use?

Reflective thread runs along the length of the leash to help visibility at night when approaching vehicles shine their headlights on it. The soft rubber handle is designed as a comfortable shock grip and to help protect the hand from rope burn during walks and training. This model is 30 ft; the leash range also includes 15 ft, 20 ft, and 100 ft lengths for different training purposes.

• Reflective stitching extends along the leash.
• The rubber handle is soft to the touch.
• Listed activities include camping, backyard training, beaches, and mountain climbing.
