OmniPet British Rope Slip Lead for Dogs, 1.2 m Red Braided Training Lead

The OmniPet British Rope Slip Lead is a 4 ft (1.2 m), red dog training lead designed for obedience work and everyday handling, combining a rope lead and slip collar in one.

• Round, tightly braided British rope — provides a firm grip, resists twisting and gives clear leash feedback.
• Integrated slip loop — combines collar and lead without bulky snaps or excess hardware.
• Latigo leather joints and nylon thread stitching — reinforce the lead’s construction.
• Made in the USA by family-owned Leather Brothers, a professional supplier since 1976.
• Available in 4 ft and 6 ft lengths and a range of solid and multi-tone colors — this option is red and 4 ft.

For training and handling, a lead should give the handler direct contact without extra hardware to manage. OmniPet’s traditional British rope design is made for obedience sessions and working-dog handling, as well as everyday use. The slip-loop construction brings the lead and collar together in a single piece.

What makes this rope lead useful for training?

The round, tightly braided rope is designed to resist twisting and provide a steady grip with direct leash feedback. Trainers and working-dog handlers favor this style for precise handling during obedience work. Its traditional British rope construction keeps the lead’s focus on a simple, direct connection between handler and dog.

• Round braided construction for hand grip.
• Designed to resist twisting during use.

How does the collar-and-lead design work?

The lead has an integrated slip loop, so the collar and leash are part of one design rather than connected with a snap. This allows quick leashing and smooth control without bulky clips or excess hardware. The single-piece arrangement suits handlers looking for a straightforward rope lead for training or routine handling.

• Integrated slip-loop format.
• No bulky snaps or excess hardware.

What materials reinforce the lead?

Reinforced Latigo leather joints and premium nylon thread stitching support the rope lead’s durability for repeated handling. OmniPet’s lead is made by Leather Brothers, a family-owned American manufacturer that has crafted pet products in the USA since 1976 and is trusted by professionals.

• Latigo leather at the joints.
• Nylon thread stitching.

Which length and color is this lead?

This option is the 4 ft red lead. The British Rope Slip Lead range is also available in a 6 ft (1.8 m) length, with solid and multi-tone color choices. Choose the 4 ft red version when that length and color suit your training or handling needs.

• Current option: 4 ft (1.2 m), red.
• Other range length: 6 ft (1.8 m).
