• Three doors and three access points — make entry, feeding and interaction easier on the road.
• Metal frame, dual safety tether and self-locking zippers — help keep the crate stable and secure in the car.
• Breathable mesh, removable cushion and machine-washable cover — support airflow and simplify cleaning after travel.
• Three-step, tool-free setup — helps you prepare the crate on a car seat without a bulky assembly process.

Car trips, vet visits and outdoor outings can be easier when a dog has a defined space to ride and rest. This crate is designed for medium and large dogs, with access from multiple sides and a compact footprint intended to fit on one car seat while leaving room for passengers.

Will this crate fit my dog and vehicle?

It is made for dogs weighing up to 80 lb and provides a 27 x 19 x 28 in interior footprint for upright sitting and relaxing during travel. Its height is 45% greater than standard crates, adding vertical space for dogs to sit upright. For most vehicles, the rear seat needs to be more than 19 in deep and have more than 28 in from the seat to the roof; the crate can also be used on a front passenger seat.

• Designed to occupy a single car seat, front or rear.
• Compare your rear-seat depth and seat-to-roof clearance with the stated fit requirements.

How do the doors and feeding access work?

The crate has a large roll-up front mesh door, two large side doors and a zippered top access panel. Side feeding openings let you offer treats without opening the crate, while the top panel allows you to interact with your dog without bending over.

• Side access includes storage pockets for treats.
• The front door rolls up to provide a wide-open view.

What keeps the crate comfortable and secure in the car?

A lightweight metal frame is designed to stay stable on the road, and the built-in dual safety tether and self-locking zippers help secure your dog. The zippers lock only when lifted upward, so lift them to engage the lock. High-hardness, chew-proof mesh provides 360-degree airflow and visibility, designed to help reduce travel anxiety.

• A removable soft cushion has reinforced support and is washable and leak-resistant to help protect car seats.
• The fabric cover is removable and machine-washable for cleaning.
• Reflective safety stripes add visibility at night.

How do I set up and fold the crate?

Set it up in three steps with no tools: fit the fabric cover onto the frame, align its six side openings, then expand the crate on the car seat and secure it using the seatbelt and headrest straps. Hook-and-loop straps help hold the cover in place, and two pop-up switches make setup quick.

• Fold the crate flat after use for compact storage.
• The collapsed height is 4.3 in.

PAWZIDEA Portable Dog Crate for Car Travel suits dog owners looking for a defined car-seat space for a medium or large dog, with multiple access points and fold-flat storage for trips, vet visits and outdoor adventures. Its stated dog-weight limit, vehicle-fit clearances, travel restraints and washable components make it a practical choice for car journeys.
