Pecute Waterproof Dog Car Seat Cover and Back Seat Extender, 52.4 x 24.4 in, 150 kg Support

Pecute is a waterproof leather-fabric dog car seat cover and back-seat extender, with hard honeycomb PVC panels that support up to 330 lb (150 kg) for a more supportive pet travel area.

• Six fixing straps, including two for the front headrests — help secure the cover in place.
• 40% more space for your dog — creates room to move and stretch on the back seat.
• 52.36 × 24.41 in (133 × 62 cm) — provides a defined coverage area to compare with your vehicle’s back seat.
• Folds and hangs from a front seat when unused — frees the back seat for people.
• Two storage pockets — keep small items organized.
• One safety belt connects to a collar and inserts into the seat-belt buckle — provides a connection point for your dog.

Dogs can take up more of a car’s back seat, while paws, fur and spills can affect the vehicle interior. This cover combines a protected seating surface with an extended area for pets, helping address both needs during car journeys. Its stated vehicle types are cars, mid-size SUVs and small trucks; the measured cover area helps you assess how it will fit your own back seat.

What does the Pecute dog car seat cover protect against?

The sofa leather fabric is waterproof, scratch-resistant and easy to clean, and is made to protect the vehicle interior from pet hair, scratches and spills. The material also provides a comfortable touch for your pet. Compared with traditional Oxford cloth, the leather fabric is the material difference behind this cover’s surface and cleaning features.

• The waterproof surface helps shield the back seat from spills.
• The scratch-resistant fabric is designed for contact with pets.
• Easy cleaning helps with routine care after car use.

How does the extender support a dog on the back seat?

Detachable, sturdy honeycomb PVC panels form the hard bottom support, with a stated load capacity of up to 330 lb (150 kg). The panels are waterproof and stress-resistant; compared with wood boards, they are described as less likely to crack. The extended surface is designed to help prevent a dog from sliding into the foot space during sharp braking, while giving the dog room to walk or stretch its limbs.

• Hard panels create bottom support beneath the cover.
• The panels detach from the cover.
• The expanded surface is intended for large dogs or multiple dogs within the stated load limit.

How does the Pecute cover secure and fold away?

Six fixing straps secure the cover, with two additional straps attaching to the front headrests to increase stability and help prevent rocking or collapsing. The included safety belt inserts into the vehicle’s safety buckle and connects to the dog’s collar. When the cover is not in use, it folds and hangs from a front seat so the back seat can be used without the cover occupying it.

• Two pockets provide storage for small items.
• Check your back-seat area against the cover’s 52.36 × 24.41 in (133 × 62 cm) dimensions when assessing fit.
• Designed for cars, mid-size SUVs and small trucks.

This Pecute cover suits dog owners who want a waterproof back-seat surface, hard-panel support and extra room for a large dog or multiple dogs, while retaining the option to fold the cover away. Its measured coverage, six fixing straps and detachable honeycomb PVC support define how it fits a vehicle and supports pets.
