Routine water changes help manage invisible toxins such as ammonia that can build up in aquarium water. Python’s system is made to simplify draining, gravel cleaning and refilling, without mouth siphoning or hauling heavy water-filled buckets. It suits regular maintenance at home and is designed to let you work around fish and carefully positioned décor.

How does the Python system drain and refill an aquarium?

Connect the system to a faucet, then use the switch to direct water flow for draining or filling. Running faucet water creates negative pressure that draws aquarium water through the hose and sends it to the sink; when refilling, water travels from the faucet to the tank. This arrangement handles the water transfer directly, without buckets.

• Use the gravel tube to vacuum waste, leftover food and other organic debris.
• The flow is designed to collect debris without disturbing sensitive fish or delicately placed décor.
• Heavy-duty, airtight tubing is intended to prevent spills during use.
