Rear-seat gaps in trucks can leave dogs with less usable space and an uneven place to ride. This cover is made to extend the back-seat area for drives with medium and large dogs, including long highway journeys, off-road travel, and outings that bring back mud or sand. Its hard base creates a continuous surface across the gap, while the cover helps protect the vehicle from claws, drool, shedding, digging, and scratching.

Can the hard bottom bridge a truck’s rear-seat gap?

Yes, the hard bottom is designed to form a stable bridge over rear-seat gaps. Its five-layer honeycomb board distributes weight across the base, helping prevent sagging or collapse under repeated use. The level surface is designed to stay steady through braking and turns, as well as on rough roads and off-road trips, helping keep a dog from falling into the gap during sudden stops.

• Supports medium to large dogs.
• Creates an extended, flat area for dogs to stretch out.
• Designed for a stable ride during longer trips and everyday travel.

Will the XL cover fit my truck or SUV?

The XL cover measures 29 inches wide (73.66 cm) and is designed for Crew Cab trucks and full-size SUVs. Its added width gives larger dogs more room to sprawl and helps cover the broad rear-seat gaps found in pickups. The fit is described as universal across various vehicles, with one stated exception: it is not suitable for Ram 1500.

• Made for the back seat.
• Compare the 29-inch width with your vehicle’s rear-seat area.
• Intended for medium and large dogs that need more room to stretch.

How does the cover keep dogs comfortable and make cleanup easier?

The 0.5 cm plush padding creates a flat sleeping surface intended to soothe travel anxiety and help dogs rest on the road. The design extends the usable rear-seat area, giving dogs room to stretch during highway journeys. The waterproof fabric forms a barrier against drool, heavy shedding, mud, and beach-day mess; its surface can be wiped clean, and the materials are machine washable.

• Six quick-snap anchors secure the cover for setup in under 2 minutes.
• The surface helps protect against claws, digging, and scratching.
• A three-year quality guarantee applies without requiring a product return.

REEVAA’s XL hard-bottom cover is suited to drivers who take medium or large dogs in Crew Cab trucks and full-size SUVs and want an extended, protected rear-seat space. It is not intended for Ram 1500 vehicles. Its 29-inch width, gap-bridging base, and waterproof, washable cover make it a fit for dog owners who need room for the ride and practical cleanup afterward.
