Keeping a dog’s nails trimmed calls for a tool that supports steady handling and a controlled cut. Resco’s Deluxe clipper brings a guillotine-style mechanism to home grooming, with a size intended for small and medium dogs. Its replaceable blade design also lets owners maintain the clipper by changing the blade when needed rather than discarding the entire tool.

Which dogs is the Resco Deluxe clipper sized for?

The Resco Deluxe Guillotine Dog Nail Clippers are sized for small to medium dogs. This version is made for precise, controlled guillotine-style cutting during regular pet nail care, rather than being identified as a large-breed size. The ergonomic grips are shaped to support comfortable handling and leverage, helping maintain a steady hand while trimming.

• Designed for small and medium-sized dogs.
• Non-slip grips support a controlled hold during grooming.

How does the guillotine blade system trim nails?

The Resco Deluxe clipper uses a guillotine-style blade action to cut through the nail. Its patented blade system is designed to make a clean cut and help prevent the nail crushing and splintering associated with standard pliers-style clippers. Resco positions this original mechanism for professional-style results during home grooming.

• Original Resco guillotine design.
• Manufactured in the USA since 1937.

Can you replace the Resco Deluxe clipper blade?

Yes. The Resco Deluxe Guillotine Dog Nail Clippers have a replaceable blade system, and replacement blade parts PF0400 and PF0440 are compatible. Changing the blade lets you restore a sharp cutting edge without replacing the complete clipper. The tool is made with heavy-duty American steel and is engineered for a lifetime of use.

The blue Deluxe finish is identified with a durable powder coating, and the Deluxe-series description also specifies premium chrome plating. The clipper combines that finish with ergonomic, non-slip grips for grooming sessions at home. Replacement blades are identified by part number PF0400 and PF0440, so owners can match the blade to the clipper when maintaining its cutting edge.

• Blue Deluxe finish.
• Replaceable blade design avoids replacing the entire tool when the blade needs changing.

The Resco Deluxe is suited to dog owners grooming small and medium dogs at home who want a guillotine-style clipper with a replaceable blade and a grip designed for controlled handling. Its size, patented cutting mechanism, and compatible replacement blades make it a focused choice for routine nail trimming on small-to-medium dogs.
