Ruffwear Float Coat Dog Life Jacket, X-Small Wave Orange with Lift Handle

Ruffwear Float Coat is a dog life jacket designed to support dogs in the water, with strategically placed foam panels and a reinforced lift handle.

• Foam panels support a dog’s natural swimming position — flotation with room to move.
• Reinforced, low-profile handle — helps lift or assist your dog from the water.
• Adjustable telescoping neck closure — enables a close, adjustable fit.
• Wave Orange, X-Small — the specific color and size of this Float Coat.
• Made for swimming, boating, and paddleboarding — suited to lakes, rivers, and surf.

For dogs joining their people in the water, a life jacket adds flotation support while leaving them able to move naturally. The Float Coat is made for swims and outings where dogs may need assistance back onto a boat or up onto a dock, as well as time on lakes, rivers, and in the surf.

How does the Float Coat support dogs while swimming?

Its strategically positioned foam panels provide flotation support while allowing natural movement. The design is intended for dogs who swim and for water activities such as boating and paddleboarding, as well as lake, river, and surf outings.

• Designed around a dog’s natural swim position.
• Made to support movement rather than restrict it.
• Suitable for swimming, floating, and paddling outings.

How does the Float Coat fit different dogs?

An adjustable telescoping neck closure lets you adjust the jacket for a snug fit. The design accommodates a wide range of dog types, including deep-chested dogs and dogs that can be harder to fit. Ruffwear provides a sizing chart image and a how-to-fit video to help you measure your dog and choose a size.

• Measure your dog and use the sizing chart to select a size.
• Use the how-to-fit video for guidance on measuring and fitting.
• This listing is for the X-Small size in Wave Orange.

What is the lift handle for?

The reinforced handle is positioned to help you lift or assist your dog out of the water and back into a boat or up onto a dock. Its low-profile design keeps the handle close to the jacket when it is not being used for assistance.

• Useful for boat and dock access.
• Reinforced construction at the handle.
• Low-profile shape.

The Ruffwear Float Coat in X-Small suits dog owners looking for flotation support for swimming and water outings, with an adjustable fit and a handle for assistance at boats or docks. Its foam-panel design, fit guidance, and lift handle make it a dog life jacket built for time in and around the water.
