After surgery, a veterinary visit, nail trimming, or grooming, cats may need a barrier to discourage access to itchy or healing areas. This soft recovery collar is intended for those periods, including care related to skin concerns and grooming. Its rounded shape is designed to feel less restrictive around the neck than a traditional rigid Elizabethan collar, while still creating a barrier around the head and upper body.

What is the Seyezo cat recovery cone designed to do?

The Seyezo Cat Recovery Cone is designed to help prevent your cat from licking or biting wounds while healing. The collar can be used during recovery after surgery or a veterinary visit, and during periods when skin irritation or grooming needs make a protective barrier useful. Its coverage is more suited to upper-body wounds; for lower-body recovery, a larger collar may be more appropriate.

• Made for recovery periods as well as nail trimming and hair combing.
• The rounded shape is intended to keep vision clear and allow everyday movement, play, eating, and drinking.

How do I choose the Large size?

Size Large has an adjustable strap and fits a neck circumference of 7.8–12.6 in (19.8–32.0 cm). Measure your cat’s neck before choosing this size, and consider where the wound is located when assessing coverage.

• The stated weight guide is for pets under 10–15.5 lb (4.5–7.0 kg).
• Match the neck measurement and wound position to the collar’s fit and coverage.

How do I clean and use the soft collar?

The waterproof fabric is designed not to cling to your cat’s fur and can be cleaned by hand washing or machine washing. The soft, padded shape can also provide a place for your cat to rest its head while wearing the collar.

• The purple collar has a patterned design that can also be worn as a festive accessory for Christmas, holidays, or parties.
• Its soft construction and rounded profile distinguish it from a traditional rigid Elizabethan collar.

This collar is suited to cat owners looking for a soft, adjustable barrier for upper-body recovery and grooming periods, with a washable fabric and a shape designed to accommodate everyday activities. For the best fit, choose based on your cat’s measured neck circumference and the location that needs protection; the Large size fits the stated 7.8–12.6 in range.
