Is this hoodie warm enough for winter walks?

Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is intended as an everyday warm layer for cool and cold walks. In deep freezes, wear it underneath a lined winter coat or jacket rather than using the hoodie as the only outer layer. The hoodie is not waterproof, so a raincoat over it is the practical choice for wet days.

• Designed for cool, dry days.
• For deep freezes, use it as a layer under a lined coat or jacket.

How do I choose a size for my dog?

Spark Paws Dog Hoodie comes in eight sizes, from Small through 5XL. Measure your dog’s chest girth and compare it with the size chart in the product images; choose the larger size if your dog is between sizes. Most buyers choose Large or larger, and the cut allows room for broad-chested dogs, including French Bulldogs, pitbulls, English Bulldogs and Labradors. The fit is made for female and male dogs, with movement in mind.

• Sizes cover small puppies, medium dogs and large or XL dogs.
• Use chest girth—not breed name alone—to guide your size choice.

How does the hoodie fit over a harness?

Spark Paws Dog Hoodie pulls on over your dog’s head and has a hood without fiddly closures. A discreet opening lets you attach a leash to a harness worn underneath, so you can keep the hoodie on when getting ready for a walk. The fabric blend includes spandex, and the stretch construction gives with your dog’s movement.

• Machine wash cold.
• Line dry to help keep the fabric soft.

This hoodie suits dog owners looking for an easy-to-wear layer for everyday indoor use and cool, dry-season outings, particularly for dogs with broad chests. It is intended for regular wear in cool weather, with a lined coat for deep freezes and a raincoat over it for wet conditions.
